Oh yeah thats cause of homophobia. Cdramas and Kdramas both tended to prevent the girl passing as a guy in crossdress dramas because they could get into trouble with the romance scenes.

So he continued feeling empathy for her to some degree. -He was about to start a legal battle against her. If he did cheat on her and this was brought up in their divorce it could put him in a less advantageous position legally. -His character is very much anxiety filled. He was already coping with all the stress of the divorce, sleeping with other women wasn't on his priority list.
