If you watched the drama you'd know why the male character didn't choose to do that. But you didn't watch the drama and commented after only reading the other comments on this page apparently. The reasons for why he doesn't cheat back are explained through his backstory and his characterization. There is already a male cheater in the story so don't worry about that representation.

XD definitely good luck to you! The only solace I found in watching it was the theme song which I just think is very catchy.
It's frankly quite boring for the majority of the show. But one of the positives is that the story is quite easy to follow since not much happens so you won't need advanced knowledge of the Japanese language to understand the situations.

It's alright, normal tokusatsu stuff but the team is more like a literal family.

Drama paints quite a harsh reality. Is an alright watch overall, acting was done pretty well.

I also expect a sudden increase in popularity as more BL fans find out this isn't just a straight romance drama.

No I just watch shows from different countries like Korea, China and Thailand frequently (you can check my watchlist on my profile) so I can compare the way they cater to international markets through factors like the online platforms they distribute on or the types of sponsorship deals they receive.

As for the Cherry Magic related information. I was highly engaged in the international fandom of Cherry Magic when it aired and also kept watch on the Chinese one over at Weibo. Through keeping up with info I learned where Cherry Magic was allowed to be aired and what platforms chose to distribute the show after it gained success. I have also read the interviews of the director of Cherry Magic and I can confirm they never expected to expand internationally.

For me as someone who watches BL its interesting to keep up with it because it sets a precedent for what shows I can expect in the future and how easily they will be accessible and how fast subbing will arrive.

Could be a lot of reasons. But it may be that the mainstream looks down on BL productions and there's not a lot of smaller companies willing to do BL unlike in Thailand where they just collect sponsors and do BL. Its also that Japan relies mostly on national fans for success and doesn't usually expand to international audiences as quickly officially. For BL there's a huge international audience which Thailand knows how to tap into.
The situation is getting better but its slow for live-action BL. For example Cherry Magic was allowed to air outside of Japan after success but that was never the initial idea.

I finished reading all available chapters.
That was adorable and so wholesome o(≧▽≦○) and yeah the later chapters really get to the feels.

Yeah but unfortunately Japan doesn't release a ton of live-action BLs so older BL are also still recommended to this day. It's not like the situation in Thailand.

It's mysterious I love it and I like how they tackle curse topic stuff from Japan. The main leads work very well together, both having their own gifts which help with their missions.
For those wondering, bromance tag does indeed fit.

I mean it sounds weird but I'll try watching it. Got a good cast and its not a ton of episodes.
