It was okay, the ending turned out okay, everything is just okay, the letdown was the drama not committing to what was set up in the past, you see YR being someone who is hungry for education and also someone who could be a union icon.
Exploring that plot point could have elevated the show
And we could have also seen JH a broken girl despite odds become miss South Korea and an actress without her being a rich lady’s daughter or the self defense case.
JP could have gone ahead to become that boxing champion

But they didn’t do that, what could have elevated the current plot was not to have so much things happen behind the scenes, at least showed us flashbacks of falling in love, of YR preparing for her exams…..

Exactly, they had lawyer connections and he was harming the other lady, I feel they could have gone away with self defense claims

It’s the show, people feel bad for JH for continuous bad luck

you may notice that after the time skip, I’m became mainly on the slide of the authors messed up, they could have taken the ambitious route could have been used, like I would have loved if YR somehow became a civil rights icon, trying to open up her business that teaches others skills, since she couldn’t go to university and JH heal and somehow achieving her actress dream.

I’m not against anyone, I was empathetic towards her, and saying applying to a competition wasn’t so bad. The girl needs therapy and you need to try to not to be driven by emotions

She is a girl with loads of flaws, but she isn’t one of those evil second lead females that is rich and pampered, she is flawed with a broken background there is a difference, my post point was that everyone is flawed and it isn’t such an evil thing to apply for the pageant, but I don’t know what’s with your hatred for her.
