It was good at first, but then after the timeskip everything went downhill. JP and YR are ending up together, no problem with that, but it’s how they did it, their close connection seems sudden because of the time skip plus there isn’t any flashbacks and how it could only have happened when she was out of the equation and it’s completely unrealistic how JH is still stuck on a boy when she was 18 when she has all the connections available

No, she was distracted and you have to remember she is a girl with a lot of trauma, the kindness he showed her stuck to her, those old times were some of her happiest memories before she met her mum.
That why she went back to visit YR family, they all showed her kindness, she had almost never had a stable family

I agree with what you said. I'm Christian, and personally I felt the ick with Lucifer. I just don't like redemption arcs for things that are known/established to be evil, or when they change core elements to fit their narrative.
They wouldn't do this with controversial recent events, but when it's far back historical or a religious/mythological adaptation, they let their thoughts run wild.
Though to be fair, Lucifer is a show based on the DC comics character, not the bible, an adaptation of an adaptation, controversial but its less like lets pick the bible and turn it around, someone in dc did that for them. Still, I think it's just personal taste though. Some people can draw the line between fiction and reality, while for others it brings anger or disgust.

It seems Paul was giving advice and in the realm of myths and spiritual pedigrees, like Greek mythology, being careful of your consumption. Unless the Bible explicitly mentions it's a sin, it seems like it was just referring to indulging in stuff like that can be a waste of time and weaken faith. You should spend your time studying the word of God. Why throw the word sin so effortlessly? You started with "does not encourage," then ended that we that have indulged in this drama are sinners.
And even before that verse it said:
'When I left for Macedonia, I urged you to stay there in Ephesus and stop those whose teaching is contrary to the truth.'
It is not in relation to drama as a whole. It is in relation to spiritual fictional myths that it is a wastage of time and a warning.
We have the two verses after that specifically say it is an instruction and the purpose is so that:

No place does it mention it is a sin, but if there is a place please give me, cause that portion was a warning against false teachings.

Its not the first religion is changed fictionally, and sadly would not be last, that's what i also hate about historical adaptations, many would not fact check after the drama is done(I'm saying in general)
Aside from that the drama was just meh. The chemistry was lacking, the cinematography and acting were good, but nothing was pulling me into wanting more.
It felt kind of like a worse version of legend of the blue sea, that's how i felt at the end
