Let me first say that I am enjoying the drama and I think it is getting gradually better, but with all due respect…
"Where as mindless negativity just brings everyone down. Not to sound new age-y but it's about the energy those comments bring to the communal space."
The first problem here is what qualify as "mindless negativity". I have been called "hater" , and to "shut up" (which got some 50 likes) despite loving a drama, but had the audacity to say that the second lead is a better actress than the main one (a very famous and popular one). To those people I am negative and spreading hate.
It is a slippery slope when you start qualifying these things.

The second point is I simply disagree with that sentiment. I also like positivity, and dislike negativity, but I think when it comes to art, we shouldn't restrict opinions.
Furthermore, I don't consider fervor gushing as "mindless". It is borderline dangerous. People who can't accept simple a and sometimes trivial disagreement are hardly harmless.

Let me first say that I am enjoying the drama and I think it is getting gradually better, but with all due respect…
I beg to differ that MDL should be treated like a fan page.

In principle I agree that criticism should be constructive, but why over gushing and screaming that is the best ever is acceptable, while saying "overrated" is not?
How these two behaviours are different in principle?

How are 30 something year olds behaving like teens? both need to wake up Imagine being so bothered by someone…
Like MichaKu said, to entertain us lol, but I have already started to see in E5 & 6 this has been luckily toned down a lot.
Actually the ML literally said to FL in E6 that we are now in our thirties, so stop acting like a teenager :)

The time people use to talk bad about LND just to uplift their fave dramas, they could actually use it to hype…
Let me first say that I am enjoying the drama and I think it is getting gradually better, but with all due respect I don't understand your type of reaction. This is NOT personal. I repeat, it is NOT personal, because there are many who have a similar sentiment.
What is wrong with people saying bad things about a drama that you (or anyone) like?
Unless it is a fan page (I believe MDL is not), I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
There are countless comments here claiming that this the best draman of 2024, and some already calling it one of the best Kdramas ever, at a point when we had only 4 episodes. Don't you find this behaviour is exactly the same like you are criticising? It same behaviour, just opposite direction.
Extreme behaviours (both ways) are annoying. Dramas are hardly ever perfect. I criticise even my most favourite dramas/books/movies. Some people (I am NOT saying it is you) treat their favourite dramas like some deity. If they have power they would probably burn you for the tiniest of perceived slight. I think this is also a behaviour worth studying.
At the end of the day, a piece of art, no matter how popular, will always have detractors. Let them voice their opinion. Just like some like to gush, some like to criticise.

Finally, I like to repeat, this is not personal. It is just a reply on the opinion that those who don't like dramas shouldn't comment, or stop watching. Just let people do whatever they want. I can assure you that some find over gushing just as equally annoying.

do they have chemistry and will they kiss/have sex like normal ppl i cannot get into another romance drama and…
If you are after sex, nudity and lots of steamy kissing, then Kdrama is not the place to find them.
Not this series, or any other one.
Kdrama are about emotions.

P.S: you might find some rare exceptions if it is entirely funded by an American company, but even then nothing in comparison with American shows.

Finished.
I am sorry to say that this was a disappointment.
There is very poor attention to details. The writing is very patchy. It has an enormous amount of disregard to logic and sense. Charcters often behave in strange ways.
Basically, the writer/director have certain set pieces and scenes they want. And in order to do that they sacrificed everything else. I mean, there is only so much suspension of disbelief one can take. I am genuinely speechless that she won best writing award for this.
It is also awfully long!

And even the body switch wasn't as good as I hoped. Yes, it had some good moments, but overall it was just fine. I didn't feel either actor has done a particularly amazing job being in the body of the other. It was Ok.
Also, the director made the strange decision to make the characters play many scenes in their original bodies. I don't know whether this is because he didn't trust the audience or actors?

But, it wasn't all bad. The leads and (Oska) are fairly charismatic, and there were many good exchanges and scenes. I particulary liked the stuff around "The Little Mermaid". Some stuff was even enjoyable. Also, the wide shot of his estate filled with snow was very beautiful.
If I didn't have the FF button on the remote, I would have dropped it, but with it, I managed to get to the end.
An avergae series that I wouldn't recommend considering how long it is. 5/10.

Guys which part do you think Meung-ho recorded chris that is enough to get him fired? Im kind of confused, could…
Maybe I am in minority, but I felt that this whole line was ridiculous.
You are very correct in pointing out that the meeting had nothing. And the conversation outside was in Korean.
Also, a random architecht in Korea is a friend with major US company VP? Give me a break!
So, we are meant to believe that this random architecht sent the recording to the VP, and that dude has nothing better to do with his time?. Also, there is some 12 hours time difference, so that VP would have been asleep.
Not to mention that firing in the West is rather complicated.
And I can go on and on.
Honestly, I felt the whole thing was beyond ridiculous and outright awful!

Comments. But I am afraid you probably have to dig for it, because the comment section is very active.
The gist of it though is that I like the cast, I like both couples and think there is chemistry between all of them, I also like some of the themes.
But, it is time now to tone down all that gabbing, chasing, or fighting over a can of drink.
Keep the tone lighthearted. Use humour a bit more wisely. But, lets get a bit more serious and start having much more adult conversations.

I'm more curious about the Netflix worldwide ratings.
It is No. 5
It lost ground in almost all Western European countries (Not surprised. This is Kdramas toughest market). Still, the fact that it features in Top 10 in some of these countries can be classed as success. I think it might goes higher next week once South America join.

That is fair observation, but I am afraid doesn't change anything.
I still think the Daughter-Mother relationship was a good storyline in the first 2 episodes. It is irrelevant to me whether the majority liked it or not. I was already aware that I am in minority. That was the first sentence I said in my original post.
As for E3-4, they introduced some other storylines that I found them more interesting than banter (I have written a brief summary of what I think about the first 4 episode if you care to read it)
The bottom line is I don't find the banter and fooling around substantive enough to sustain a drama , or make it great.
Maybe if the banter was Oscar Wilde level of wittiness I might change my mind, but I am afraid this is not it (at least in subtitles)

So, 25% of the show is done.
I find it enjoyable and funny, but not amazing or memorable yet.
I certainly think it has the potential to do so, but it needs to gradually drop the silliness, and add a bit more seriousness.
Serious does not mean gloomy. Shows can be lighthearted and serious at the same time.
Enough of them grabbing or chasing each other. Or the second couple fighting over a can of drink or lollipop. I don't deny it is amusing, but that doesn't make great drama imo.
Lets move on to a bit more mature conversations, and use the humour wisely. I think it will have more impact.
I really like the cast, and I think both couples have chemistry. We have also established some good themes. What we need now is for the show to "grow up" and fulfil its potential.

I must admit that the brother is the only character I have zero interest in.
I was half expecting that this girl is the daughter of the Gym's owner.

please they need to put the subtitles on when they are speaking English 😩😩
I honestly don't want to pick on them, but unfortunately it is true.
I used English (CC) instead of English, and it worked. Even when they speak in English there are subtitles.
Once these scenes were over, I switched it back.

yes he has a privilege but rubbing it on his face and give the privilege a credit of his success and well-mannered…
I won't repeat what @Kate already said above, because she said it very well.

I just want to address the "rude" part.
In the first case, it is not rude to tell your best friend some harsh truths. That is what best friends are for. They can tell each other harsh things, and the other usually process it (even if it angers them, or upset them momentarily) because it is not malicious.
In the second case, I think it is very brave rather than rude. He deserves a credit for fostering an enviornment where his employee can be so frank with him, but again, it is not rude to point out to him how his actions are affecting those around him.

..and I think it was very realistic how it was presented.
A friend told him in a much harsh and direct way, while his employee in a very calm and gentle way.

What are the other shows you're thinking of?
Because This is My First Life. Incidently also starring jung Somin was 2017 drama that also has a cohabiting couple (not spoiler. It is evident from E1), so I am not sure it is a taboo, but I agree it is very unusual.

Btw, if you haven't seen that drama, I think you should check it out. Although I am enjoying this one, BTMFL is much better imo. It tackles a lot of real problems (much more directly than this) about life and relationships, but still has enough lightheartdness and fluff.

The base plot is obviously copied from Welcome to Samdal-ri.
You have every right to state your opinion. You even have the right to say it is a bad drama.
However, you must admit that the way you put it is very ambiguious and open to speculations.
I am sorry, but you didn't state your opinion in a simple clear way.
You listed all similiarties and finished by posing a question.
Anyway, as I said in my original post, if it is only an observation like you have explained now, then there is nothing to discuss really. You have the right to make that observation.

Title Secret Garden Spoiler
I am currently watching this.I have an observation about the end of episode 13
Maybe I am in minority, but to me she was WAY more beautiful in those casual clothes and simple make up than when she came to the party. Nothing about her looked better.

Fair enough. Let's say the basic plot is 100% identical. So, what?
If you are making a simple observation, then fair enough, you are like tons of other posters who made the same observation. Case closed, and you don't have to read the rest.
But, if you are trying to say this is somehow diminish the series, then I beg to differ.

This is not a mystery, or Sci-Fi where a genuinely unique idea make a difference.
This is drama about life. The overwhelming majority of people don't have unique lives.
Furthermore, it is the execution that matters.
I mean, how many of us here on MDL can write a drama even if we copy 100% the plot? A drama is FAR more than just a simple plot and setting.
I can understand that watching similar plots can get repetitive. On that you are right, but if you mix genres when you choose what to watch you should be fine.
