Yes. I understand what the writer was going for by her giving up the ticket, but I don't agree with it, because it is a bit too much. I feel that one of the charms of this series was the FL not being squeaky clean (at least for me), but we have been slowly moving to the typical damsel in distress scenario. I don't hate it. There are some very sweet and touching moments coming from that line, but overall, the series loses few points for taking the safer route.

I didn't mean Dahee give the lottery ticket to the scammer mom (btw..I think she would have taken it, and wanted more). I meant she would cash it, and have those 2.3 billions in her bank account. Then she can repay whatever the debt is and be free, and with some extra change to spare. She can donate it to orphans or something if she feels she doesn't deserve it.
I have mixed feelings about E8. Probably the weakest overall......
I can't put my finger on it, but this whole "Uncle" being with them felt very cringe. I felt those bubbles were outright silly, but maybe I am too old. I also didn't feel there was a need for her showing us her tricks. It was mildly funny, but ultimately filler. But, my biggest complain is her not cashing the lottery ticket. One thing being honest at the wedding and coming clean, another not taking the chance to get rid of your debt and gaining independence. That is just too much to believe. Generally speaking, I thought she was more fun as a scammer. But, I enjoyed Donghee & Grace love/hate relationship, and I like that Grace was asking for 25 billions. It is more believable. The change in the scammer family is an interesting development, and overall, I am liking it, and must admit didn't predict it.
ngl I like donghee and graces interactions more. its more interesting. Dahee and Gwijoo's one feels kinda forced…
That is fine :) Us having different takes and opinions is a positive thing, and makes things more fun. I don't come here only to listen to people who share my opinions.
Daheee & Ina forever ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️OMG, I really need to stop fangirling over Dahee…
If you have access, try to watch "The Kidnapping Day". It also has an awsome relationship (and you got a lot of it) between an adult and child who are not biologically related, but develop a father-daughter bond. And the child actress is absolutely fantastic (I think she won the Bakesang award for newcomer).
The rating should be increased. This drama is so fantastic.
I also think so, but I don't think it will. That said, 8.3 is not too bad. Personally, I would give it 8.5. The show might not be huge hit, but I think it si doing well domestically and interntionally. It creeps from time to time into the Overall Netflix top 10. Chun Woo Hee is certainly having a deserved good time with 2 of her shows trending so highly, and she is playing completely two different roles showcasing her range.
about time! she deserves so much more recognition. I can't believe someone in the comments here said that she…
So true, she is really very good actress. People who don't know should watch her movie "Han Gong-ju", when she was just in her mid twenties. She was fantastic in that movie.
I haven't watched this yet but why do people hate her for that? The Glory was similar so not sure why this FL…
For the record, I actually wanted her to be even more flawed. She is very interesting, BUT, there is NO COMPARISSON between her character and that in The Glory. The girl in the Glory was tortured and she went after those who abused her. This one is just a con-artist picking on people to steal their money (she has mitagating circumstances, but the point is that the Bok family and those before them have done nothing bad to her). So, I don't see how you can compare the two.
Finally irl allows me time to start this one!Hope it's good, all those negative things people said about it only…
Agree on all of the above. The writing is solid, but nothing special. However, it has few surprises. I think we all know how it will end, but the journey is less predictable than most shows.

Sounds like a Greek tragedy lol.

The truth is I haven't thought about it a lot, but I just think this might be used as shock value/plot device.

1. Dahee & Ina : Gold
2. Dahee & Gwijoo: Silver
3. Donghee & Grace: Bronze

630,000 Won for the dinner, and 780,000 Won on glasses.
