honestly, I think so. which makes me so sad to say cause I think LJW is a phenomenal actor. I just don’t really like any of these characters. but Ep10 was good and I enjoyed spending time with them.
loving this drama! each character has a fully fleshed out narrative and we’ve got some queer representation, ability representation, good communication, size representation, a ridiculous premise, sex-positivity, and it’s still true to kdrama and so mich fun.
I agree with your entire review. it feels really new and fresh and yet somehow old skool 2000s kdrama at the same time. Icracked up so many times and still found it heartfelt and had depth. kudos to the writers for taking some risks 👏 👏
I also agree with how it got better after the 4 ep. the entire casts’ chemistry is amazing and seeing them together is a delight.
loving this so far. it seems both youthful and mature at the same time. the representation is so refreshing. I love the faced pace dialogue and humor. I’m having so much fun watching this drama 👏 👏

i can see your point. I can understand her anger and resentment. But his intent was not malicious and was to postpone her pain about Do Young’s death until after her mother’s passing. His act may have been dumb but not evil. And how it must have felt to take on the name and life of your dead brother? where’s the space for his grief in this situation?
She admits it herself at the end of Ep 4 that she’s angry at herself because she thinks telling Do Young about her feelings for Do Ha made him leave and led to his death. And she’s projecting that anger onto Do Ha.
I think I’ve had too much therapy to enjoy Last Summer. The preview gives me some hope that next week will be…
His BROTHER dies when he’s a teenager and you yell at him, he uses poor judgement but tries to keep you from hurting, he disappears when you tells him to, and shows up as a seriously hot & talented architect trying to HONOR his late bro and your friendship, and improve the resident’s lives, and you blame your entire life’s problems on him and “summer”!
I don’t WANT Do Ha to end up with you get therapy.

They keep overdoing that "get out of my face" moment from the past
was so sick of it by the end of Ep 2. I’m ready to be proven wrong by future episodes but did it really need to be repeated 17 times. Like go to therapy.
her Waikiki shirt on ep 12 had me gagging 😂 I
