This is the best drama I have ever watched in my life.
I knew however the ending played out it wasn't going to ruin my overall experience. I was not going to forget about the other 19 amazing episodes.
My definition of a bad ending is not a sad or tragic ending, but something that is poorly written.
Then there's another thing I never looked for flaws which made my experience watching the show perfect.
I loved the ending. In fact episode 20 might have been my favourite, because it delivered what Heartless City is so famous for it's hard-hitting emotions.
With a genre like this I was very open minded to accepting anything is possible with this drama. If it didn't end that way then what the heck were we watching the whole time.
It was 10/10 from the first minute of episode 1 to 10/10 to the last minute of the last episode.
Now I wait for Heartless/Cruel City 2 because that is the only thing that can become Heartless/Cruel City competition.
~Hellow~ I've heard a lot of praises/greatness about this drama but I'm a romantic drama sucker... can you please…
@louloudi you stole the word "insult" from my mouth. That is exactly how I feel. City Hunter is nothing like Heartless City. For one it's not even similar storylines. Period. Done. At this point no one is near JKH. People are trying to find something similar to HC but the truth is there is nothing like Heartless City. You can't compare it with anyone or anything.

I think it's such a shame that people try to give Heartless City a chance just because of the romantic aspect of it. It's not a love story. It never was. Yes, there is romance, but it's realistic that's why it's not the focal point.
The thing that really annoyed me was that the synopsis made it seem like the whole story would be based around…
The synopsis does no justice to the show. You have to actually watch to see how dark and gritty it is. For those who don't watch this drama they think this is just another revenge story but no it's not. It's a little bit of everything that's why it grabs your attention so firmly. I guess the upside for the misleading synopsis is that it blows you away because you were expecting something else.
I don't get why some people do like Nam Gyuri. No hating towards those who dont like her but I just want to know…
I actually like her a lot. There's just something refreshing about her. She is doing an excellent job in this show from her action to running in those heels. Last week personally for me was her best two episodes. She had the right amount of emotions and courage.
soooooooo overrated, compared to the US shows (the wire, sopranos etc) its more of a comedy than real crime/action…
Wait, hold up. How did it get from stating your opinion(s) to judging a person by their looks. "Lead girls plastic face." "Beaten by a woman who looks like a stick." Chinjon?

I don't get the moral of this conversation. "soooooooo overrated." I hope I didn't miss any of your "o's." I think this drama is underrated. Movies and shows doesn't matter from what country they origin from they all have a fiction touch to it. You will never find anything truly realistic when it comes to entertainment and isn't the biggest reason we watch entertainment because it's not realistic?
Doc Son & Soo bromance-meter is spot on. Just by the title I was hoping even though the drama is currently airing that these Heartless City men would make it on the list. Perfect description.
I for one was really bummed when Doc turned out to be an undercover because it just seemed so much more interesting that the main lead is the antagonist. After the end of episode 14 I don't think he will fully go on the route of the "dark side" he's just confused and betrayed at the moment. He's good at heart he's not evil. His character has always been a mystery, but his second life has given him more trust and love. I like that he has his own organization formed up it seems like a family.
