I always thought Soo can either redeem Doc Son or destroy him. In this "journey" it's a possibility one might die. I'm not sure about Soo, but Doc has a high chance since first episode it seemed like that was his path.
Seriously we have 8 more episodes, but I just wish that this awesome drama can have more seasons like the American…
I was just thinking the whole time how will 20 episodes work with Heartless City when this show can go in so many directions and can see so much more of character development.
Since starting this show I've stated many times that in a long time a different k-drama has come out but in fact I feel like Heartless City is the first of its kind. There has never been slow pace or any dull moments in this show. Every scene and every character represents something. They engross whether it's main role or supporting role.
I already have high standards set with this drama and I never had any sort of standards for k-dramas but as I watch Heartless City it's so hard for me to watch other shows at the moment because I keep on looking for the same emotions and depth in Heartless City.
Season 2 would be a fantastic idea! JTBC needs to know they have created an masterpiece and it needs to resume.
I'm not mentally prepared to farewell this drama. It's become my top notch to go drama and I doubt anyone can match up to it because it has formed it's own level of awesomeness.
We are all anticipating when Doc Son would catch up on Soo Min "undercover" form, but I didn't think it would turn it out like this. The ending the way Doc Son appeared and overlooked them he looked every bit of lethal and scary. The way his eyes had that terrifying form. I didn't expect such an expression. I still have goosebumps.

Ha! I love it. That is Soo's word. It's always in the conversation with Doc Son. It's like their inside joke or something. If you look back to their jail times that's where it started. It's catchy and brings a smile.
This week the show just went to a different level. We're in midst of war. I don't know where to start. So many things happened that they just caught you off guard and your just left with lingering emotions.
Is this worth watching? :) I'm planning to watch it, so please tell me your opinions!
This drama consists of many genres. One genre will definitely have to pull you in. All the emotions you can think of you will feel it with HC. This show is a roll coaster. There's never a dull moment.
Because of Heartless City I decided to watch 49 Days. I knew she was in that drama but because I am so consumed with every actor in Heartless City I decided to watch 49 days and I just love the kind of actor she is. She has that oh so cute and refreshing side to her. There is something about her I appreciate. Her chemistry with Jung Kyung Ho is amazing.
He is amazing in Heartless City. He deserves more roles. I would love to see him more often. He is a fine actor and is portraying his character in Heartless City perfectly. Ah, the bromance between him and Doc Son is cherry on top.
Despite episode 10 being engrossing and having character development. It's rare I found find comedic parts.
1. Meth Kim. I can't. In one hand he has a bag of drugs and in the other an ice cream cone and he's running away from the cops. LOL.
2. Soo Min in silhouettes. Her whole outfit screamed suspicious. It cracked some chuckles out me.
3. Zoo: I liked the concept of the zoo being Soo Min new start and this start definitely started on the bright side considering she got our Doc's trust. Then we have the other side of the zoo where a cat and mouse chase is going on. Someone is chasing someone. Someone want's to screw someone up. Cops. Fights. Gunpoint. Library action. Hallway action. At a certain point it just got funny (in a good way.) I think all that excitement got to my head.
[SPOILER] Did he really leave the tip? I just can't place my mind on it. He obviously isn't pleased with the lifestyle she choice and yet he supports her by giving tip. In the flashback they show the stroking of the hair and could have ended there but they showed him leaving and closing the door so when did he leave the money? Either I'm thinking too much about it or he actually did it and I'm not entirely surprised he would do that. He did let his guard down for a while and for long can he more. Doctor is a troll. We all thought he was talking about Soo Min to buy gifts for . LOL it was for Lee Jin Sook. [/SPOILER]
How does he do it. He is so effortless in Heartless City when he's the backbone of the show. What an amazing actor. I really prefer him in roles like this because it's so suitable. From his expressions and to that oh so marvelous smile. For a body frame like his he deceives you when he does his action and fight scenes. An actor that has the surprise element to him.
I think we were all a little fooled if we read the synopsis. I for personally was expecting the undercover/romance to be the main factor but oh boy did they add a lot of other things to hype us about. A reason this show is different is they went for a more realistic route and showed the drugs and how a person can be sucked into two worlds(Doc Son). I for one find this romance hard hitting because even though it started on a pace and when it came it came with a bang. It's unexpected but it seems that much more realistic. Their romance is based on attraction or maybe some silent understanding. It has depth, because Doc Son definitely feels something.
I'm sorry but did that seriously happen in episode 9. I knew the romance angle was going to start but like this? Well, don't we have ourselves a problem. This show was already pumping us up with the drugs and fights. Even when the romance starts this show gives you so much depth and raises the bar. For a personality like Doc Son it's a great surprise. I can't place my finger on him. What a thought-out character.
Now this is something we need to see in the drama!
