OK...now this ending has a sense when I found out that there will be season 2...great dram I love it
Season 2 has not been confirmed yet, they're still reviewing and working out all the scheduling for the actors, writers and directors, it's going to be at least another 2-3 years until season 2 happens. If it even happens.
A lot of people seem to be blaming Netflix for the ending, this is not made by Netflix. They just own the exclusive streaming rights, which is why is labeled as "Netflix Original" they did the same with Arthdal Chronicles and My Country, and those are by TVN and JTBC. Kingdom, Love Alarm and My First First Love are 100% Netflix produced, Vagabond is not. A second season is 100% up to the producers and if they are able to get a channel to air it. Unfortunetly, we now have to play the waiting game to see if it will ever happen...
SBS are the ones that funded the production, so the production company can't just go to another network and sell…
Well in that case, I hope channels will stop pushing dramas back to air sports, extremely slim chance of that happening though cause it's TV and they want ratings
I hate SBS, they already having a sports channel but choose to air baseball games in the vagabond slot because…
SBS are the ones that funded the production, so the production company can't just go to another network and sell it. SBS has already spent 25 billion won on it, they won't let the production company do that.
As much as I hate having to wait to watch the next episode, you can sort of understand why they did this, even…
Baseball games can go for something like 3 hours (?), by the time it's finished, it would probably be past midnight in Korea/the next day and SBS wouldn't bother putting on a drama that late/early. And they can't exactly put it before the games, because there are multiple games being played on the day and the only time available would be early in the morning.
SBS has SBS Sports channel, yet they prefer to air stupid games on the drama channel. Drama fans are being treated…
As much as I hate having to wait to watch the next episode, you can sort of understand why they did this, even if they have a dedicated sport channel, they want to have as many people watching as possible since baseball is huge in Korea, which would give them huge viewership ratings. I'm not a big fan of sport, except for one, but sport is sport and it's huge everywhere. You say sport is a waste of time, but dramas aren't exactly any different are they, anything could be a waste of time depending on the person.
Looks like Kwang Soo will still be in this season, maybe as a guest?
