the novel was so unexpected. I didn’t know it was mpreg until it came out of nowhere. at least the love at first sight thing made sense since its the same idea as in the sign.

I can still remember I think a few years ago where happy ending are almost non existent for same sex couples. how time changes…

most bl books these days are happy ending. I’ve been reading for a while now and have read some of the most popular ones (in Chinese). I haven’t yet find a be. writing be is more demanding as the author needs to convince the readers the writing is worth them suffering through the bad ending

I'm not commenting on his acting but I feel in general fans should stop adopting this if you don't like his acting don't watch attitude if the acting is actually bad. because acting is his job not a hobby (unlike singing). I'll forgive an actor for being a bad singer but if he's bad at acting it's not the audience fault for pointing it out. I've seen so many fans of idols defending their idols when people points out their idols acting is bland. they say things like we fans like it so shut up. except if the actor wants to make it big, his acting can't just have fans liking it...

cp like this I don't see realistically "sailing". cross country cp is still a pretty new concept and very difficult to do since there is the issue of the language barrier and physical location. this is also why some people don't like these kind of shows because they find it irrealistic for the characters to fall in love when they know the actors can't understand each other. at least here they have a translation earbud.

yeah except in real life, please don't change easily (like a cheater will be very unlikely to change). and I also find it extremely disturbing how being imprisoned or physically restrained (sometimes with handcuffs and not with consent) is a kink among female readers

I never understood why some readers likes when the female/male lead gets together with someone who bullied them/made their life hell. There are even novels where the female/male lead will end up with the person who actually tortured them physically/psychologically. It never made any sense to me. I just see it as Stockholm Syndrome.

like I said, ptsd. but also to be fair, apparently the fs back then was crazy. I was telling a person how mosbank posted rings and all that and posted wedding related stuff suggesting they are really together and someone else commented mewgulf did way more back then. fans are already invested by nature but when you try to get them to move their love for the characters on to the actors, it's extremely risky and it can backfire when your ship breaks up. Korean actors are also doing it now. those guys from love for loves sake are calling each other boyfriends. I'm not saying it's right to attack the actors because it's not but some business practices are making the problem worst.

I remembered as well. I don't remember this series but I did remember him not wanting to be in BL again because he got ptsd with the whole mewgulf thing. he did say specifically in an interview to not ship him with gulf but they can ship him with other people so maybe he's recovered? I was still so surprised though. but this is a Korean Thai production so most likely this ship won't last so maybe that's why he doesn't care? it's a one time thing?

You are so right about the script. What the hell was that script? It doesn’t make sense at all. And the ending feels so forced it’s not even funny. First deserves so much better. He suffered for so long and they just got him to forgive just like that? Sprite didn’t even have time to grow as a person. This ending is horrible. I hope the leads gets a better script next time.

The whole First doesn’t know about sprite just doesn’t make sense. This is horrible writing. I wonder if they’ve changed writers midway.

Terrible writing and terrible ending. The ending felt so forced it’s extremely unsatisfying. I knew they didn’t have the courage to give a bad ending, but this ending just feels empty. I don’t really like the main couple because first deserves so much better. And I don’t like sprite or zee. I hope the main leads gets a better script together in the future.
