I just LOVE short dramas, no matter how wacky the production is. They are simply fun to watch, the story progresses fast, you can binge them in like a quarter of the time of regular length dramas. I have watched some short dramas already and I loved every single one so far and Love Legend is no exception.
What I especially love and what in my humble opinion deserves a lot of credit is Bai Shu as the stern, unshakeable, strong main lead. I am so, so, so happy that the casting directors are finally giving him a chance for characters like Pei Zhao or He Ru Fei in Legend of the Female General. I think he is so perfect for such character and I am so glad I could see him like this as a ML (yes you guessed it i love him even more now). Otherwise, the acting is this drama is alright, just like you can expect in a short drama.
I liked the story too, especially the final few episodes how the royal family handled themselves lol you definitely don´t see that often. I would have wished for more closure in the end, but it is fine like that too.
This drama had more soundtracks than other short dramas which is nice too (I don´t usually get much of the OST, only if it is standing out to me).
Overall, I would definitely rewatch for Bai Shu, he really blew me away with acting.
