I didn't think about it that way but I guess that makes sense. Initially I thought, since he said he's carving their names to get them out of the mess (aka him going against everyone while protecting MY and now having to prove her identity) though I guess he still could throw her under the bus in that scenario (if he really wanted to). While simply swearing ignorance wouldnt leave him without punishment, joining in in the punishment for MY maybe would give him a somewhat pardon? But yeah.. he has been labeled as "nice", he even treated his enemy's daughter well so he isn't someone who could cruelly throw MY to the wolves. And especially not now when he caught feelings.

Rather than sad...I think it's bittersweet. I don't think the characters themselves thought it was sad.

Because it was revealed that Stella Young is a woman, the obvious choice was for her to be Kang Han Na. The whole thing with the kid traveling also stood out. But I must say. I didn't connect the Peaches (as I forgot what nonsense Jang Jun Ik was saying before his death). It actually felt like nonsense - presumptious on my part considering the genre of the show. Also, the necklace thing? Once again, great catch.

I feel like binge watching this would have made more sense. Less chance to forget the finer details.

Were the episodes cut? Why did everything feel so rushed and convoluted in the last quarter of the series? Sigh....still the chemistry between the leads was fire.

Oh, I have seen it. Though, Love of The Divine Tree is more of a Feud type, I feel, with it being more about misunderstandings and hate rather than nurturing the connection between the leads 🫣

I think he was trying really hard to respect her choices (since it backfired greatly for him when he forced her to kill against her will) so when she said she can handle herself and actually had the anklet, he thought she'd be safe. He had no way of knowing she'd have a reason to take it off and make herself vulnerable. Plus she wanted to find Ruling. Keeping her hidden on his body is...one of the choices but takes away Her choice. I think it's pretty common to feel stuck when making the "right decision" especially when one or the other choice already backfired in the past.

I did watch it, yeah, a few years back now. I remember thinking "how much are they gonig to misunderstand and torture ML? Give him some rest" back then 🙈 He was truly...devoted.

Ha ha...yeah, I did watch "a few" lol I was curious about My Journey to You. Mixed reviews kinda stopped me from checking it out... I think one said it's "a journey to nowhere" (?) I can only assume a disatisfying ending but...sad ending is not necessarily a disatisfying one so I guess I'll try it out, thanks ^^ I was also just eyeing The Last Immortal and The Longest Promise today but the trailers didn't appeal that much to me....again, I should at least give them an episode or two a try. Lost You Forever - I heard it's a harem? I'm not really into harems, but rather 'one soul at a time' stories. And does Legend of ShenLi go deep then?
