Depends....what type of shows are you into to? Even though I often binge shows, I'd feel too overwhelmed to binge this one. There's a lot of details but not necessarily a lot of plot in this except for the main storyline - cultivation journey. Jokingly I'd call it an Encyclopaedia to Immortal Cultivation.

Judging by his calm reaction to her working in the illegal market and to catching her burying a body I'd suspect he also done a fair share of things during his youth. His issue with her is probably that she's unhinged, leaves traces behind her without looking towards a future whereas he (probably) meticulously buried his own traces. I expect his character to shine moving forward into the series.

Definitely worth to watch, regardless of the platform available. If you're a fan of crime, psychological and dark genre in general, then don't pass it up! :P

What does "happy "mentor-disciple enemy" even mean 😅

Depends on individual's perspective... personally, I think the storytelling could have some tweaking as it becomes a bit repetitive later on but the acting, OST, chemistry between the leads and side characters are really good. Episode one had one of the best tension-creating scenes I've ever watched and it's what got me interested in continuing the drama. There are still a lot more going further into the drama but some things are...circling and it can feel frustrating.

I had to hide my face at the dare kiss...I hated that game when I was a teen lol I'd slap the one who did it to me into a next life too haha

The thing with Bright Moon Palace is a bit weird...didn't they agree to come back to Bright Moon Palace once everything is done? Or was the "recovery period" supposed to be it? I took it as they'd be living there but then they just up and went to the mountains...🤷‍♀️

I believe they first connected because they both felt the other is wise and insightful, someone they can learn from and banter with. They both had strong, independent beliefs but were also open to growth.

It's an interesting path they took with the Eternals. I'm not sure if we ever had them be so useless in any other cdrama. But the whole inaction approach/reluctance to risk themselves and instead choosing comfortable oblivion is not a foreign concept, as a whole.

They're one of the main couples and have plently of screen time (alone and together) though their journey is rocky. The main couple is also very interesting so I'd say give it a try. If you like chinese fantasy dramas then this one, while not without fault, is one of the great ones. (Personally, now my fav💜).
