I haven’t watched this yet but I’m starting college at 23 (24 if I don’t manage to apply for fafsa before…
Perfectly acceptable, nothing wrong with it, applause to you! Just pointing out that even the male lead looks flabbergasted when he’s told by his professor that the guy is a younger freshman. It’s actually a cute scene. But from that moment on, I couldn’t unsee it. 😂

Series is kinda cute, but the lip color shades that are on display here for two of the characters is so distracting, it makes their skin tones seem so washed out and filtered. They’re both so handsome and honestly didn’t need that much glaring color to enhance their features. Plot isn’t one you have to really wrack your brain over, but the third male lead is 30 years old in real life so we struggled to accept him as a college freshman, he looked more like a graduate student or a TA. That said, his acting was pretty good overall, in fact it was good for all the cast. The locations and sets are sparse but fairly nice, and we were laughing at quite a few scenes….so the character writing definitely had its highlights. Ending leaves a bit to be desired though, this type of cliffhanger drives one crazy, it only works if there’s a season two or special episode. Overall it’s an easy watch, we’d give it a 7/10. Would have given it an 8 if not for the campy sound effects (sometimes funny, sometimes annoying in rom-coms,) and the unfortunate apricot and raspberry colored lipgloss choices. 💀 The best part about the series for us was the Q&A session with the actors that followed after the credits rolled on the last episode. Interesting to include that, so informative and cute!

I can relate to Cho A, she’s someone who nurtures others above all else. This comes across as being too “deep” and not being spontaneous or fun, but the truth is that nurturing people like us also have a desire to be led by someone else sometimes. We get exhausted by our efforts and need someone to give us a shove in a direction, for them to take the lead and get us to go outside our safe comfort zones. Once we do, we start to prioritize all the fun experiences that bring joy to our loved ones and ourselves, we become more spontaneous when others open the door first. But it takes the right person to adjust to us initially, we need someone who enjoys being around the deep conversationalist in us, but also encourages us to go all out on our wild side. People with our motherly personalities can be a burden sometimes, we come across as too direct and serious but with the right person, we shine. Cho A’s story interests me the most, she just needs someone who balances and compliments her.

Let’s all hope that SS and CH’s poolside date is shown soon…..I really want them to have all the feels so that they both find the happiness they deserve. Plus it doesn’t hurt that the two of them together would make a visually stunning duo. ❤️

Jung Sub, Jung Sub, Jung Sub…..what can I say? Didn’t we all have that ONE guy friend in high school or University that we absolutely adored hanging out with but could never possibly date? The one we all tried giving our best advice to, but who never quite listened to us girls and bantered with us about failed relationships until our eyes were rolling so hard that our tendons snapped? The one that wasn’t quite a red flag but wasn’t exactly green either….his flag was always that weird shade of nutmeg that you discovered when you were learning how to blend red and green together in art class. But all that said, we still loved that one guy friend and we defended him as best we could. And when that guy FINALLY settled down with the one woman who took his breath away and turned him into a puppy, we all had to know every single detail about her. Wishing Jung Sub the best, because he’s creating all kinds of messes by himself and I can’t seem to look away. 😂

I wish their upcoming date would’ve been included in the preview.
Wondering if it’s because the “new participant” got to steal a date with the man she wanted to spend time with. When she was introduced, her text from production said she could spend introductory time with each guy (10 minutes) but also ask one of them to stay for a longer date that evening AND also have a date with him the next day. My guess is because she didn’t get to participate in the phone dating game that they all played, she will get to essentially steal her pick. (I honestly hate it when reality shows bring in new people, swear they do it just to cause anxiety in the participants and viewers.) 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m forming new dimples on my face from watching this show. Swear that I’ve laughed and smiled my way through the available episodes. The ‘reality’ is that although it’s billed as a dating format, we all know that idols are closely managed by their companies and oftentimes unfairly scrutinized by a handful of fans….which makes it unlikely that any true romantic relationships will develop with participants. That said, it’s fun to watch them engage with their fans, it’s definitely entertaining and their bromances and behaviors (along with their commentary) often have me dead. And some of the sound effects/gag reels that were added during editing are hysterical and just make some scenes even funnier or cuter.

Who pressed the self destruct button on this series? It started so well but I have whiplash from the last few episodes. Such wasted potential of not establishing their identities earlier, not to mention throwing us all a grenade that detonated at the very last minute, completely destroying Jack and Mike’s chemistry and series saving finish. The one couple that was pure fire, the one couple that could have steered this veering garbage truck that we were riding to safety. Nah. Best to just leave this one in the ‘never again will I watch it’ pile.
