I agree. I have not liked the girls Hu Yitian has starred with in his recent dramas. That’s probably why I’ve barely watched some of the ones that have come out this year. Currently watching Youth Should be Early which isn’t bad but actress still not great. Could NOT get through Unrequited Love and You Complete Me mainly bc of the FLs in those. ALSB is one of my faves though bc I love Shen Yue! I totally ship those two!

I thought Miles Wei looked similar to Hu Yitian too. They definitely have different personalities. Hu Yitian introduced me to C-dramas when I first saw him in Handsome Siblings and ALSB so he was my first Chinese celebrity crush. I am beginning to like Miles Wei maybe a bit more but hes not a lead in a lot of dramas. I first saw him in Count Your Lucky Stars. Hu Yitian is beginning to show more personality and diversity in his recent dramas though.

This does give me Perfect and Casual vibes with the addition of the cutest kid in the world! I don’t mind though because I loved Perfect and Casual. Is it just me or does Miles Wei play the “Genius” in the sexiest and coolest way? I always get the giggles when I watch him lol! The FL is perfect. She’s so pretty and their chemistry is great. Her scenes with the little boy are always so adorable. I’m so happy I found another rom-com that I’m addicted to because the ones I’ve been watching lately have been boring.

Are all the episodes subtitled yet on Viki? I went back this week and the last 5-6 episodes still weren’t.

I was really excited for this but it kinda let me down. The first half of it was good but then it just got boring. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. I like the leads and they have really hot kissing scenes together! The supporting characters weren’t great either. This is not gonna be a memorable one for me unfortunately.

Lol I’d like to see these videos! Not surprised. I’ve watched ALSB like 4 times now! I loooove it!

Update: I’m much farther now and after watching more episodes I will say that the FL grew on me a bit. I really wish wardrobe was different. I thought her clothes and hair would get better after she got a job but they didn’t. Zheng Qian is so blind....now I actually feel bad for Xin Xin. It’s gettin good!

Yesss! Thank you for letting me know it's on iQiyi! I looked at Miles' Weibo and saw pics of this so I immediately came to check the air date cuz I knew they must've posted it. Love him!

So.....this is frustrating. So far I’m liking the story and the characters EXCEPT the FL! She is sooo immature and her attitude is annoying as heck! Isn’t she suppose to be in her 20s already? yet she acts like a whining child. Her wardrobe is also horrible. I’m not really feeling the chemistry between the 2 leads either, they do have cute moments but it seems more like a friendship. Hu Yitian has shown a different side to him in this. He’s usually quiet and aloof in many of his roles. In this drama he’s still a little quiet but he’s sprinkled goofiness in. I loved the Karaoke scene where he’s singing and dancing because I haven’t seen him go crazy like that yet! The 2 other couples are ok and I’m still seeing where they lead. I’m almost halfway through and I’m hoping the FL matures and has a better attitude. Maybe the FL will grow on me. We’ll see.....

I started watching this when it came out and MIGHT go back to it someday. And the only reason I would is because of Hu Yitian. The girl and her character is sooo cringey and stalkerish to me so watching it makes me feel uncomfortable. I had to drop it.

I can’t wait to watch this but I’m gonna wait until it’s done airing. If I have to wait a week for new episodes I forget what happens or drop it. I’m a binger. This looks good and so far from what I’ve read it seems like it is. I love Hu Yitian but its been tough trying to get through some of his dramas recently. Unrequited Love and You Complete Me were eh

So this my 4th time attempting to watch it. The first 2 times I could only watch the first 2 episodes then dropped it. 3rd time I got farther to the 6th episode but dropped it again. I really love Hu Yitian and want to keep going. So far I like his character because it’s a different type of role we haven’t seen from him but the business babble is soooo boring. The revenge part is interesting so I hope there’s more to it later because it seems like he got over it pretty quick. I’m on episode 10 now. The FL is OK but to me they don’t look like a couple. She looks older. I’m trying not to drop it again but we’ll see.....

Just finished Use For My Talent. I liked it but it's not my favorite Shen Yue drama. Though it is her best acting performance so far! She's gotten so good. I wish she would come out with more dramas because she's my favorite Chinese actress!

OMG! We have an actual poster and air date!!! So excited now! I’ve been checking every couple weeks after they finished shooting!

The 2 main leads always have great chemistry on screen! This isn’t my favorite CDrama but Both seasons were pretty good. I might prefer Season 1 more though. The whole time I felt so bad for Eldest Prince bc he’s actually not a bad person. He only made bad decisions bc his true love was stolen from him and he can never get her back! I really like the Eldest Prince and wish they didn’t end his story the way that it did. I hope they bring him back next season but don’t think they will. I love Jing Xin! She is so cute and pretty! I would definitely watch a spin off show of her.

I know Wu Bai is 25 but does anyone know how old Appledog is suppose to be? I’m curious what the age gap is. Not that it matters really but it’s something that I keep wondering about. I THINK Han Shangyan is 30 in Go Go Squid, does that mean she is too?

Wu Bai gets more handsome after every episode! Li Yitong is adorable and I’m very happy with the recasting. She reminds me of a cute Japanese anime character!

Yes I do think people are comparing it to the first Go Go Squid which is affecting the ratings. I didn’t read the books but I knew this was gonna be like a prequel-present type of thing. There’s some stuff that confused ppl at first too like the type of competition they’re in. After reading some stuff what people have posted about the story it make sense. I’m wondering if the book series was actually DT and Appledog’s love story all along and the Go Go Squid couple were a spin-off of them.
