I’m only on ep 3 but so many scenes seem familiar. I don’t remember watching such an old show. I’ve only been watching Asian dramas the last 4 years or so. Was a remake of this done at some point?

I just read the entire webtoon today and I think this show will just take scenes from the webtoon, but major plot points will be different. I actually prefer the direction the show is going right now better.

Dr. Qin probably only has to say that Su Ying is entering it into an important competition and the ex will back off.

Don’t pay attention to the synopsis. It hasn’t been quite right based on the 16 eps I’ve seen so far. The only one who hasn’t moved on from their past relationships is the female’s ex.

Agree with your 2nd point. There were times in ep 2 where her acting was exactly the same as Attorney Woo. Annoyed me a little because everyone always says she’s such a great actress. I’ve only seem Atty Woo. I don’t think a person on the autism spectrum should be the same as an immature 31 year old. Still enjoyed the show so far and looking forward to next episodes

I enjoyed for the most part, but I had to fast forward so much the last few episodes. Too much focus on Mengnan plus I dislike endings where all the antagonists are redeemed.

I’m watching on Viki, so it’s only on ep 37. I haven’t even seen previews

I wonder if the viewers were supposed to feel sorry for Mengnan or if she’s really the villain. I unfortunately had to watch a bit of her in ep 36 because I wanted to know why her dad created fake Shen Mi. She’s so annoying. She makes everything about her.

I really like this drama although I do have to fast forward all Mengnan scenes. She ruins what could have been a better slice of life drama.

The real Shen Mi got lost and separated from his mom in Thailand as a child. He then met the ML who was around the same age and also happened to be Chinese. The two of them survived together and became best friends, but the real Shen Mi drowned. Mr. Han, Shen Mi’s grandfather’s right hand man, found out what happened and asked ML to pretend to be Shen Mi. We don’t know yet why Mr. Han did this.

She doesn’t do any operations in this series so far aside from flashbacks. She can treat animals, even sew up massive wounds, but she has an issue using a scalpel to cut into an animal.

On Netflix Canada, the thumbnail for this show is Ai Jia and Jin Yang. I don’t know why they changed it except maybe to capture the new Zhou Yiran fans? Not an issue since I’m also a fan after When I Fly Towards You, but it seems strange having secondary characters for the thumbnail.

I don't think so unless something different happens in later eps. Up to ep 30, he doesn't push for them to be together. I even suspect that he told Shen Mi to not get close to Mengyan. I don't know his motivations but his and Shen Mi's secret is most important.

I had exactly the same thoughts as you. She's completely delusional. I'm pretty sure her father told Shen Mi not to get close to her because he's scared of the secret getting out.

Hopefully that’s the last time that Shen Mi has to tell annoying Mengnan that he has absolutely no romantic interest towards her.

She’s also a very kind person who would likely help out anyone similarly.

I like that he’s actually making efforts to be with her now. They’re so adorable together.
