I watched early this morning and I fell asleep, too! I didn't know counting sheep really works.

If you don't mind a bit of esports action, You Are My Glory and Love Scenery are both sweet romances without much angst.

I was only going to watch a couple of episodes today but am now on ep 13. The show has me talking to and yelling at my tv. I want to watch the new eps of Last Immortal, but I can't stop watching this one.

I think Dad was already shipping them after he met Dr. Mo at the meat pie shop.

I was about to say the same. I finished it, but it was a struggle. So many stupid misunderstandings

I’ve seen comments on here and TikTok that this lacks a plot, but two people falling in love for the first time is a perfectly valid and enjoyable plot. Having stupid misunderstandings, cheating, scheming third parties, etc. doesn’t make it more of a plot. Just makes things needlessly messy.

The back story episode felt a bit slow and I don't feel any chemistry between the 2nd couple. I was tempted to fast forward, but I plodded on.

Started this today and am now on episode 6. I got curious about xanxia dramas after watching the first 6 episodes of The Last Immortal. I may be hooked now. Both of these are so fun. I picked this one because of the rating, the leads(currently also watching I Am Nobody and Love Me Love My Voice) and that it looked more lighthearted.

I think it is because I saw the pictures where they’re both wearing red and she looks like she’s the phoenix queen. They very much look like a couple in the picture.

You are My Glory with Yu Tu is one of my favourites. They’re a more mature couple (late 20s) with established careers. the female lead chases the male lead but not in an annoying way. Then, they become friends, then a little separation until they get together and they have a super healthy relationship once together.

This is my first xianxia drama and I’m enjoying it so far. I’m usually just modern romance with the very occasional wuxia. I do have a long list of xianxia I want to watch, but the number of episodes are so daunting.

I’m already tired of her. I’m glad that she gets exposed for her two-facedness fairly early based on the previews. I don’t think I could take 20 episodes of Gu Jin liking her.

They’re two of my favourites and so far they are delivering

Meet Yourself is one of my favourites. This one has a bit more romantic tension. I like them for different reasons. Side note: a co-worker just came back from China and brought me rose cakes like what they make in Meet Yourself. They’re so good! My co-worker was surprised that I’d heard of them before, so I told her about Meet Yourself

Yes no fast forwarding for this show. Sometimes I even rewind. If this show continues to be good, I’ll be rewatching for sure.

ML joined FL’s live chat group and talks about a recipe. I unfortunately can’t remember what the recipe was for because they talk about food lots. FL knows ML is her idol when they’re online chatting. They meet briefly in person at her parents’ grocery store and she’s intrigued by him. They then meet in person to record a song and she realizes her online crush and the doctor are the same person.

MuMu reminds me a little of Lee Soo Hyuk. Similar mysterious and handsome aura.

That shirt dress with the open sided vest is great. I also liked the clothes that are modern takes on some traditional Chinese style elements. Goes well with their music.
