He's the saving grace of this drama for me. I'm really beginning to dislike the FL. I'm on the edge of dropping this and only hanging on because I like the ML's performance

I'm on ep 12 and I'm beginning to realize that I don't like the FL's acting. She can't cry and gets a bit whiny. She delivers her lines in a slightly robotic manner. It's really obvious when she's in scenes with the ML.

Only thing the same is the cheating husband and going back in time. They’re very different otherwise.

I rewatched an episode on Viki last night after watching the whole series on WeTV. The names that Viki uses are throwing me off majorly. Tune Killer vs Off Key, Iddriss vs Qiang Qing Ci, Beanie vs Dou Bing, Ode vs Ya Song. I usually prefer Viki translations, but these names annoy me. Maybe because I got too used to their names on WeTV

That’s such a common theme in Korean dramas. I made that comment for The Third Marriage and I had so many replies saying that this happens often in real life. I can’t even imagine hooking up with any of my friends’ partners. They’re all good guys with very successful careers, but my brain immediately files them into a different compartment. I also don’t think I know anyone where this has happened in real life.

I’m so happy I started this. I’m a PMY fan, but I was going to wait to start because it felt too soon after Perfect Marriage Revenge. However, this has a totally different vibe. I really enjoyed Perfect Marriage Revenge, but it very much had a makjang feel to it which was fun in its own way.

I'm only on ep 4 and was wondering why this feels familiar. It has a very similar vibe and pacing. The snowy scenes, FL getting drunk at the beginning, their first coffee shop scene. The FL in both is also a bit aloof and it's the ML that draws you into the show. I remember all this because I was a bit bored in the beginning of One Spring Night and dropped it the first time, forgot about it and rewatched one day. Ended up liking it.

I already get butterflies whenever the lead couple have scenes together. I saw some comments below that the male lead isn’t handsome enough, but I think he’s attractive. He has a strong yet caring vibe. And PMY is always beautiful and charming.

Same. I felt like I was rushing through the episodes. I’ll probably watch when Viki catches up, so I can watch on a big tv.

I enjoyed the parts after Feng Yin’s return so much more. The A’Yin era was mostly cute, but some parts dagged for me while later episodes were so exciting. I also like second chance romance trope, so that helped me enjoy the latter episodes more.

I guess when you’re immortal, 1000 years is nothing. Look at A’Jiu and Fan Shuang, took another 1000 years before getting married!

I know there’s that 40 ep limit now. They could have shortened the first parts before Fenyin came back because the last few episodes were the best. There were cute moments in the early episodes, but I fast forwarded a little. I really couldn’t watch early peacock scenes. Forced myself to watch later ones because I was worried that I’d miss something important

I may be hooked on Xianxia now, but I only want happy endings. Think I’ll start Love You Seven Times based on your post. I started and finished Back From The Brink while Last Immortal was airing.

Qing Lin is gone after ep 27 or so, but Hong Rou is actually already dead or that's what it seems like so far. I'm on ep 36, so she may still be reborn somehow. I don't know much about xianxia rules or how ppl in them really die or not.
