Thanks! I saw further down the comments that they have a child. The only other xianxia I watched before this are Untamed(didn’t know this is xianxia) and Back From The Brink(started and finished while between episodes of Last Immortal). I want to watch more xianxia now but the number of episodes are daunting. I prefer 24 ep cdramas.

Tencent still does express even when they sell to other platforms like Viki. It’s one way they keep viewers even though other platforms are better. This week is too early for fast track. Maybe next Sunday or Monday.

Took me a long time to finish this. Watched the first 24 eps while this was airing then went on vacation and didn’t feel compelled to finish. Decided to finish today and the last few eps dragged so much. 30 eps was really too many. I enjoyed the first 20 eps or so; then, there were so many flashbacks and weird time skips.

Came to MDL today just to complain about Jin Star. Shrieking, possessive banshees are always my biggest dislikes for drama characters. The way she talked about Gu Won to the cousin was so annoying and it sounds like she gets worse in this episode.

8.7 is pretty high for a show that has mixed reviews. I usually have low standards and I find this drags a bit. I'm really only watching the scenes with the main couple.

I just got to the part about how Kang Jia Wei’s parents divorced. What a selfish mother! I can understand having your own career, but the way she asked for the divorce is awful. Could she seriously not wait a few days? Or just go to America without getting a divorce, but it’s obvious that she blamed her husband and child for her failed career.

Zhao Lusi will supposedly use four different voices throughout the series and they’re all her voices, not dubbed.
