I'm probably one of the few enjoying this, but today's episode really made me cry. Poor Seo Won

Took me a long time to finish this. Watched the first 24 eps while this was airing then went on vacation and didn’t feel compelled to finish. Decided to finish today and the last few eps dragged so much. 30 eps was really too many. I enjoyed the first 20 eps or so; then, there were so many flashbacks and weird time skips.

Came to MDL today just to complain about Jin Star. Shrieking, possessive banshees are always my biggest dislikes for drama characters. The way she talked about Gu Won to the cousin was so annoying and it sounds like she gets worse in this episode.

8.7 is pretty high for a show that has mixed reviews. I usually have low standards and I find this drags a bit. I'm really only watching the scenes with the main couple.

These are all my favourite shows this year along with Perfect Marriage Revenge and Back From The Brink

I don’t want her to have any redemption. I want her to be thoroughly humiliated and hide back in her peacock world.

I just got to the part about how Kang Jia Wei’s parents divorced. What a selfish mother! I can understand having your own career, but the way she asked for the divorce is awful. Could she seriously not wait a few days? Or just go to America without getting a divorce, but it’s obvious that she blamed her husband and child for her failed career.

Zhao Lusi will supposedly use four different voices throughout the series and they’re all her voices, not dubbed.

I'm finally caught up after fast forwarding through all peacock scenes. Definitely too much screen time.

Finished and I loved this. I was watching so many other shows, but I put almost all of them on hold to binge watch this one. This is the first xianxia that I’ve finished as far as I remember. I usually prefer modern romance, but this one captured my full attention from the first episode. The chemistry of the leads was great and I also liked all their friends. Suying was a bit too obsessive and I normally fast forward such characters, but I actually watched most her scenes because they somehow felt necessary to the story and not just filler. For 40 episodes, this show didn’t drag at all which really surprised me. Glad I found this because I got curious about the two leads after starting their newer shows, Love Me Love My Voice and I Am Nobody.

I’m watching this now(on ep 31) because I just finished watching the actress in the very sweet modern romance Love Me Love My Voice where she plays a completely different character. I’m watching the actor in a fun series called I Am Nobody, but I haven’t seen much of him yet. I started that first; however, this show totally sidetracked me.

My dad was 32. Good looking and well paid senior engineer but very shy. Met my mom and were married in 6 months. It's less common today, but it's definitely not unusual in Asia.

It's because WeTV, the other official site, released an express package for the remaining episodes and Viki doesn't do that.

Love all three of these and am now also really enjoying Back from the Brink even though I've never watched xianxia before. I watched mostly because it's same female lead as LMLMV and was also curious about the male lead.

It's not that unusual in Asian cultures where dating just for the sake of dating, and not with marriage in mind, is still not super common. In the case of this show, when would he have had the time?

I'm completely obsessed right now with a show with the same lead actress as Love Me Love My Voice. It's a xianxia drama, Back from the Brink. I'm not usually into xianxia but am loving this one.

I haven't loved any of the new ones I've watched the last few months. Nothing above an 8 and I rate fairly generously. One that I enjoyed the most is maybe xiao zhan's Sunshine By My Side. I would have rated this 8.5 except I fast forwarded all the scenes with the annoying younger sister.

I can't watch scenes with the Peacock Princess. I really dislike that type of person in shows and real life.

Sounds like it may be more confusing and frustrating if you watch Ancient Love Poetry and try to tie them together. I didn't watch ALP yet and I'm enjoying this so far.

Those particular ones they were eating are supposed to be really stinky. I've been curious about them, but I haven't tried them yet.
