Then, chasing him to Beijing and forcing herself on him. My jaw just dropped when the female lead’s old crush says to her that her boyfriend is out of her league, so she should be with him instead. He still has more to say, but I had to pause and vent.

He plays Gu Jin/Yuan Qi so well. He is especially good in the latter half. He does that hang-dog face so well without being over the top and he’s really good at making me cry.

Had to rewatch final few minutes to check and realized the kiss happens after The End shows up on screen. Hope we get more in The Last Immortal even though I also loved BFTB.

The only other xianxia I watched before this are Untamed(didn’t know this is xianxia) and Back From The Brink(started and finished while between episodes of Last Immortal). I want to watch more xianxia now but the number of episodes are daunting. I prefer 24 ep cdramas.
