I've seen posts on social media who find this show too slow, so 8.6 is still excellent. I personally love it. I started around 6PM on Sunday and finished on Tuesday at 9PM. I watch lots of shows at 1.5x speed, but I watched this in standard speed and sometimes even rewound because a scene was too good.

No way. Her father doesn't deserve to be forgiven by the fabulous mother. He not only cheated, but he made her feel like she wasn't good enough.

Are you implying she had plastic surgery/fillers/etc? if so, you are wrong. you can plainly see in the scene where she has absolutely no makeup that her face is pretty much the same as it has been. she did lose weight, so her face is slightly slimmer, but it's mostly makeup and contouring. she's supposed to look more mature for this role.

She is on Shu Yan's side during the break up arc.

Too many irrelevant people and scenes in last episode. Like did we need crazy Fang Lei meeting with the crooked lawyer? I would rather have heartwarming moments with the family including Yan's grandma and sister.

It's the food that usually captivates me. Due to cdramas, I now love luo si fen or snail rice noodles(Put Your Head on My Shoukder, Sunshine By My Side) and Yunnan flower cakes(Meet Yourself). I'd love to travel to China one day to visit locations of some of my favourite scenes.

I got a feeling from the trailer that their break-up is an act. At the end when she puts the ring in his hand, there looked to be a little extra pat. Like silently saying that was a good act.

It ended too fast! I woke up at 6AM to watch it and it didn't disappoint, but I wish there was at least one more episode today.

I actually really liked ep 25. I thought it did a good job of them starting to re-establish the foundations of their relationship. The end of the episode showed they're still on rocky ground, but I'm glad it hasn't been so easy for them to get back together. This feels more realistic to me. There's no way someone would go back to a relationship that quickly if she was treated that poorly.

It's just a quiet scene, but the scene when Zhao Ming is telling Xu Yan about the competition gave me butterflies. The micro expressions that showed their thoughts and feelings were so perfect.

Do you ever get taken out of a scene when you see an actor that's been on previous Zhao Lusi dramas? it always makes me go to MDL and look them up to see if I'm right. It's great she gets to work with people familiar to her if not her friends.

Qiao Lin has a good heart, but she is a bit stupid. I'm glad that she's back in Xu Yan's life though and being supportive which is something Xu Yan needs. (Am on Ep 16)

I'm only on ep 6. If I didn't watch clips of future episodes, I'd be convinced that he loves her. I might not sleep tonight in order to catch up on this drama. I love the clips from ep 17.

I'm watching Mysterious Lotus Casebook and got distracted when he appeared onscreen. I had only seen him in vertical dramas, so I had to track down his name out of curiosity

That flashy silver sequins skirt! Love bestie's fashion though.

It's more like a slice of life slow burn (very slow burn) , but the leads have great chemistry and are sweet and flirty. They just take a long time to actually become a couple. It's an absolutely beautiful and healing drama. Same male lead as Will Love in Spring, but he's even more charming in Meet Yourself. Greenest of green flags.

Having a serious talk and being emotional at high speed is so stupid and he does it for a 2nd time even after the disaster of the first time!
