Development at same time but Japanese version started filming after Korean version aired. Takeru Satoh said he watched Korean version before filming this.

She looks so glowy with the brown hair and the gorgeous and classy yellow dress.

I probably give out 10s too easily. But I rarely give out 10s after first watch like I did with this one. I will usually go back and upgrade some dramas to a 10 if I rewatch it at least twice and they make me emotional.

Hopefully after the success of this and how much range she showed in this, she will be offered better projects.

There were a couple of moments there where I thought WYF was going to waiver and forgive her awful mother or not bring up that she asked for help and her mother ignored her.

Going to start rewatching on Netflix ASAP

I was only going to give 9 or 9.5 due to the grandpa storyline, but I loved Sang Yan and Wen Yifan's story too much. Definite rewatch and I probably won't even skip the grandpa bits.

This may not be considered unethical in China. Otherwise, it probably wouldn't pass censorship. As a Canadian, it was also hard to not cringe at first. If you really don't like doctors treating family members or falling in love with patients, this drama is definitely not for you.

So many dramas start falling apart at this point, but I think First Frost got even better. Ep 28 is so good.

Ep 27 trailer is what’s going to help me sleep tonight

I had to pause because it’s so intense. Yi Fan’s fear is coming through loud and clear. Her aunt and uncle knew that aunt’s brother is a perv from the first time he and Yi Fan met. That family is so sickening.

I fell asleep partway through ep 19 and I had just woken up from a good night’s sleep. I like the show overall, but it doesn’t always capture my full attention. I either get sleepy or I start scrolling on my phone.

I’m in Canada as well, so I had similar thoughts as you. However, I watch so many ridiculous dramas that I can turn off my brain and enjoy the ride. I do still kinda wish he would transfer her to another doctor once they became friends.
