Among the many things I giddily enjoyed in this series is whenever they have a close up of Lee Chae Min’s lips whenever he tastes the dishes. Not really sure how to describe it: perfect, sexy, luscious? 💋 One thing is for sure those lips make the food seem even more savory and delectable! 🥰

Just sharing my opinion about Seo Kang Joon’s performance on this drama. I believe he portrayed this role perfectly, and really gave a lot of thought on how he should act the role.
From what I understand in the story, his character is a somewhat repressed, cautious and “silent water runs deep” type of person (because of his dark past), which may account for his on-the-surface nonchalant expression, a mere facade hiding his passionate love for the people he holds dear.
I noticed a consistency in the expression and demeanor of the actors from when he was a little boy until he was a grown man. It described very well the character of Eun Sob. And I found that actually even more endearing, like you would want to hug him real tight and tell him everything’s gonna be okay.
You can also see the contrast in the personality between the characters of Jae Wook and Kang Joon. Jae Wook’s was the more jovial and outgoing type while Kang Joon’s was the shy and subdued type. So I think this was evidence again of his superb (maybe even underrated) acting skills (having watched a few of his other series).
SKJ excellently portrayed a ML that was taciturn, cozy, endearing, and passionate underneath; a nice break from the proud, egoistic and egotistic, wealthy types you see in other dramas ( which includes some of his other roles).
A truly great actor! Which I guess is why I’m a fan of his.
One of the dramas I completely dislike. Sorry to all the others who loved this. It’s just my opinion. They made the SML so dreamy in the start and then made him like a fool in the rest. Because of this drama, I don’t want to watch any other drama starring the leads, both ML and FL, esp the ML. I still couldn’t bring myself to watch hospital playlist (among many others) because he’s there, despite the recommendations of my friends. This was an eye opener for me — that not all kdramas are fun to watch, and some you can actually hate. Although I think hate is such a strong word, but that’s how I strongly feel about this drama.
I couldn’t bear to watch all episodes, not because it’s bad, but because of the story. It had a light giddy-worthy start, but then it became too heartbreaking for me to watch. I just skipped to the end just to find out what happened; and found it still too sad. Love SKJ! I feel traumatized by the FL, and will think twice again watching any of her shows because of this drama.
I can’t believe many of the reviews and comments seething with nothing but abhorrence for this series. All I can say to the haters is — relax.
No. This series is far from being a masterpiece. Instead, it’s a fun, light, and yes, silly, albeit heartwarming series; which I believe was the true intention of the writers. The personality of the FL throughout the com is already proof of that.
I actually found this series entertaining and refreshing — a nice break from all the other heavy, political, and intrigue-filled kdramas, that can actually be stressful to watch at times.
Sometimes, I just don’t get the over analysis and hyper intellectualizing over movies and series and books. I actually like to watch and read in order to unwind and relax — not to get my knickers on a twist.
It wouldn’t hurt, and would actually help, to relax and enjoy a light and amusing series, such as this.
Don’t tell me this is going to be another “Lovestruck….” I couldn’t stand the whiny character of JCW in that series. Didn’t get to finish it at all. Loved him in Healer and K2💖, but not much in his other series. Maybe a bit in Suspicious Partner, Though that series had some annoyingly illogical plot.
Not really a fan of SHS, but she had some really nice series; like Still 17 and Mr Queen.
Anyway, so far, in Ep 1, didn’t really enjoy the fit displayed by JCW during the meeting. His OC-ness wasn’t fun to watch at all. It was reminiscent of Lovestruck.
Next, I can’t believe that the rep of the FL was quickly tarnished just bec her staff claimed that she was the reason for the attempted suicide. I mean, would people really put the blame on her and believe the staff that easily?!? If she was already a highly respected personality, how could people easily believe that she is capable of doing what the staff claimed?!? IDK, It seems like another convoluted plot: to come up with a reason for her to return to her hometown.
I was really looking forward to watch a new series of JCW😍, but I’m losing interest already and it’s only Ep 1. 😓

It seems the girls prefer the more muscular and tall types?? Idk! We have yet to discover his personality. I am interested to know more about him. But I’m a little disappointed that he seems to like Ha-Jeong?? Among all the girls, I find her the scariest. There’s something iffy about her. Idk, we’ll have to see. If that’s the type he likes, then that’s not so promising.
Really great so far! I’ve been crying over several moving 🩷 scenes in the last 5 episodes that I’ve watched. And I’m not talking about sad scenes, I hardly cry over those. I cry over scenes or moments that display genuine care 💖 and support for another person; be they a friend, relative, family or stranger. Also, the songs have been really nice so far. I hope to enjoy more heartfelt scenes in the next episodes. 🥰
It took me a long while to get to episode 13. It’s been quite a struggle to get to watch it up to this point. I don’t really know why I find their pair up really unexciting. Rowoon is so hot and handsome and yet I find their mushy scenes really lacking, even if the scenes are emblazoned with all those love songs. And not one love song has caught my fancy yet. Their connection feels unnatural, forced and simply lacking sparkle, I don’t know. I actually feel giddier with the SML, though I can’t say he’s more attractive than Rowoon. Maybe the executive look doesn’t really work for Rowoon?? Don’t get me wrong, the story and series in general isn’t really that bad. I am still actually hooked on unraveling the mystery.
I just have to say, I found the dorky Gong Yoo 🤓 here so yummy! 💪🏼🔥Not sure why, but he was geeky hot in this movie! Also, he does comedy so well, and made the movie so much fun 🥰 to watch!
