Could have forgiven the rest of it, but was bitterly disappointed with no resolution for Chil Seong and the vet's subplot in the end... really enjoyed the show overall!
Just finished my first full rewatch and it took me 2 days... Please hit me with a car or something so I can forget it and watch it again for the first time...
What a series. I'm absolutely blown away. My one comment is I would have preferred if they didn't use the amnesia trope twice,.. the writing seemed a bit slack towards the end.. NMK and AEJ now have a new die hard fan!!
It’s a mystery to me too. Was it the same girl? Why did she ignore him when they’re back in Korea?
I agree with this, I also think she was dead. The incident with the Japanese team kind of made it confusing for me as to whether she was alive or not but the ending scene with the girl buying the magazine confirmed that he was hallucinating. Loved the Film!

Omg your acting in ep 8 was so stellar, it brought me to tears. Wow, just wow.
Completely blown away by that episode!!!! Some of the best acting I've ever seen, between those 2 dads and between the fathers and their children. Got me almost sobbing!!

I love the way you've described and summarized this series :) I just finished episode 8 and I'm so disappointed with the dive-bomb it's taken since episode 4... I found the whole sub plot of the abusive tech CEO to be ridiculous and poorly written. It really does seem like the writers threw random stuff at the wall and hoped it would stick as you said! I'll still finish the series though, as I'm a big fan of Lee Je Hoon's work and I hate dropping series half way through.
