I feel like I have to thank A Shop For Killers for this! πππ. It's just my own theory, but I feel like LDW did such a good job in A Shop For Killers and I feel like I wasn't the only one who noticed because we are now getting his gangster era πππ
I'm scared to say it this soon, but I think I've fallen in love with Our Movie.
I just love winding down for the night and listening to them talk π.
The way that the drama is filmed makes everyday moments feel special. I recently watched Forever on Netflix, and I wished there were more magic moments like this! It feels magic because it's special to the characters. And I think when viewers see that, they connect with the character's world and they start to feel it too.
I'm ready to love Our Movie regardless of whether it's popular or not. Lost was a hard watch and wasn't for everyone, but it's still my favourite Kdrama π . Tbh, I rarely watch dramas about sick people (I'm watching Good Boy now and before that I watched Mr Planktonβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ). But the reason I keep watching is because it's not ALL sad! It reminds me to love life for what it is - the easy and the hard, the good and the bad. It reminds me that moments aren't forever, so why not just enjoy it while it lasts? And that's exactly how I will get through this drama ππ!
Just watched episode 2 and this is so good! The chemistry between them is insane and they are not even in love…
Omg I was saying the exact same thing in ep2. The romance hasn't even begun yet, but I'm already there π€£! What's it going to be like if/when they actually fall in love π€―
Is it possible the Drug Demon might have a change of heart later on? Possibility of a redemption arc? She seems…
DJ's personality is why I keep coming back to the drama.
I was not expecting him to find out who the criminal was right at the start nor to start chasing JY. DJ's confrontational approach is different, and it's one of the reasons I keep watching. Now that I think about it, it's very much like how a fighter would challenge their opponent: Out in the open with nothing to hide.
I think there are two ways to catch a criminal: You can keep your cards hidden or you can reveal them all. When criminals know you are watching them, it could make them runaway and harder to catch, but it could also disorientate them because they know they are being watched and they will always have to look over their shoulder because someone is waiting for them to slip up.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but in my years of watching fantasy cdrama, I have never really seen a cp showing this much skinship. They are always holding hands, always embracing each other, and comfortable in bed together. There have been none of the usual 'whose having what bed?' discussions. It seems normal to them to share the same bed. There's something so open and modern about their relationship that I don't see normally in these kinds of dramas. Normally, there's a lot more modesty, and I don't see that with them, so it's really refreshing. I now call them my 'PDA (public displays of affection) couple' π
honestly, Ok Gyeong was right when she said she plays the same role over and over again, that's a fair point,…
Agreed. Was it abrupt? Yes. Was I surprised? No. And same goes for JN. Was it annoying watching her damage her voice? Yes. Was I surprised? No. They're performers, and I find their characters to be very consistent with that.
I was fustrated by Jeong Nyeon in episode 8, like everyone else. But at the same time, I can understand why she pushed herself that hard. My experience of performing on stage was electrifying because the stage is full of emotions: adrenaline, excitement, fear, passion and much more. Therefore I can see how a person can get lost in all the energy and emotion and become consumed by it.
Answer: I watch this drama in Korean, but it's hard to understand sometimes because I'm more used to the Korean spoken today. Moreover, I watched episode 8 while 'multitasking' on my phone. However, in the final scene, my eyes kept moving from my phone to the drama. Eventually, I wasn't on my phone anymore. I had both eyes on the drama, and I was full-blown crying! That is how powerful and alluring her acting is!
This drama is actually really heavy. It's an emotionally deep show. It's not the kind of pain that makes me cry, but it's the kind of pain that hurts my heart that's how deep it is to me π
It always makes me laugh knowing that those 'hypothetical' scenes are supposed to be imaginary, but the actors still have to film them so in a way the dance scene was real π
I haven't caught up yet. I'm just stopping by. So far I've learned that the ML can sew, play music, paint, and nurse wounds. Is there anything he cannot do??
I didn't think there'd ever come a better time when I could give a shout out to Song Ho Hee. But today is finally the day! If you really like this type of music I recommend checking out her heartbreaking version of BTS's Spring Day.
What are these things called tears and why are they falling from my eyes??? π I've watched FL dramas back to back today. Firstly, A Virtuous Business then followed by Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born. We're making drama, people!!! π£π£ππ
