I was going to come here to get some answers, beacuase I could not find episode 1 anywhere and started at ep. 2, but then I got to the middle of episode 6, if you blinked you missed it.
My main issue was , I could not understand the husband's abnormal hate and despise for his wife, like why did you marry her?
In ep. 6 he is talking to his boss and his inner monologue states "I married my wife to look good for you" so he married her to advance his career and gets angry that after 5 years of marriage she wants a child, and not only did he not want to pay alimony he wanted to make her cheat. To me his a a cold narcissist with mommy issues that only appreciates things once they are no longer attainable to him.
The FL is lucky, she was surrounded by idiots wannabe villains and femme fatale. She emotionessly and persitently gathered her evidence. She achieved her goal and after 2 years she figured out , oh well i will never trust again this other dude will try to atone for what he did for the rest of his life let me get my baby from him since I will never love him. So she got her baby and her Kanpeki husband.
This is not a revenge drama is a guide of divorce done right.

To any young woman watching this drama. If you are in the first episode. This is a life lesson. That female coworker; that is envy, that "boyfriend"; that is red flag insecurity. Some people are not as lucky as her that have these things revealed to them before it is too late. So, please know that if anyone tries to diminish your light in anyway whatsoever open the door for them and close it firmly behind them. No need to open it ever again.
Great acting all around. Everyone was so jaded here except Ayame, for a lawyer she was too innocent and giving while at the same time extremely self aware. It was a hard watch but the most accurate portrayal that I believe without experiencing it , is the reality of an abusive relationship. So satisfying her slap in episode 6 and so heartfelt her grief in the final episode. Although I have been a longtime fan of Shiono before his acting days I have to say his acting here and his expressions freaked me out. Kawaii and goose bump inducing at the same time , how can someone even manage to do that? I cannot believe I stumbled upon this gem today while browsing for something Japanese to watch.11/10 for me.
Kippei's [ex-husband] amazingly high confidence should be bottled and sold. His audacity for thinking three gorgeous women Aoi, Karin and Sumire are after him for his outstanding looks and for being such a reliable and loyal human being. Never have I seen such a sahameless human portrayed on screen.
The way the saesangs described in EP2 how they were able to enter his home was incredibly disturbing to me. I have been ELF since 2008 and I have seen SJ go through same things in the earlier days. Nobody talks about the trauma this brings them , and as always now SK powers that be want to cancel this drama from being aired on main stream channels.
