The girl whom plays the villain gave me the heevie jeevies. I doubt she is acting. Has not many dramas after this. AND she has that "dead I want what you have" look in her eyes down to perfection. I had a co worker whom looked at me exactly like this. It took me over 10 years to finish this drama. I can understand how koreans may have enjoyed it at the time. BUT i like my makjang as the one in nice guy, secret or mask. The gullibility and things that were not discussed where so unbelievable that It would be more probable for me to be isekaid into who "made me a princess" amd marry Claude. I dunno know if I am wiser with age. But there is not one single character that is likable in this drama if you look at it realistically and base it on each characters behaviour. Abusing someone verbally and emotionally taking advantage of their inoccence and/or protecting them by hiding things so that they do not get hurt but then causes them to get even get more hurt is toxic to the max.
AND poeple here do not talk they have inner monologues and just stand there looking at each other. AND when you have an important life changing thing to say if the other person interrupts you it takes 20 episodes to bring it up again. 2 grown women obsessesed with one women. Argghhhhh i wish i had not retaken this just for the sake of finishing it.

Hello. I started watching this when it was airing and I stopped I want to retake it but have not been able to find it subbed until the end in spanish or english . Where did you guys watch it?

I always felt this weird vibe between Jae Hee and Joon Il. Was i right, did she have some history with the brother in law? Or some random tension between the actors. It happens sometimes.

Can an anybody spoil me? I adore Soo Hae and I started watching when it was airing but I am at ep 6 and it has taken me 2 weeks and still have not been able to finish it. Watching dramas should not be a task.The only thing I want spoiled is this below in spoiler tag.

10/10 I do not know what movie the dongsaengs in the recommendation section saw , but it was not this one. I have had a decade+on MDL and have never reviewed because it is a big responsibility. Especially if I do not like something. I do not even review on amazon. MDLer's WATCH IT! Girl power bromance to the max. Think Buffy the Vampire slayer meets veronica mars. It is quite heart warming realistic it does not sugar coat the bullying. The dad was outstanding and the mom too. Surprising watch I bet it did not get hyped cuz of timing it came out on the worst possible time May 2020. Thanks to the YT channel mystery recap I found this gem. Made me want to go back to Taekwondo despite my age and injuries. If you love a slice of life with realistic views and a kick ass girl and you do not mind the only romance you will get is bromance this is for you. AND stay for the credits BEST DANCE EVER!!!

Hello! In this case she was daiting a less succesful man. When he said " I felt I had to be at your beck and call because you were in a higher position than me" and wgen she says "I thought he was proud of me" that was quite heartbreaking. And maybe where you live at, that is generally the case. But, I live in a latin country and culturally as women leave the staying at home for work and university, it is the case that is predominant. That is one of the main causes in my country for gender violence which right now it is at 70%. I see your point, but in latin american the men are still very much in the macho phase.

Best smackdown I have ever seen in a drama. Ladies this is what happens in real life. Gabriel Garcia Marquez said once " woman fall in love over time, while men fall in love immediately. That is why when the woman is most in love men are already fed up" I do not believe in generalities there are always exceptions. BUT as a person what I have seen around me is that when the woman is the most succesful it is very hard for a man to stand by her side sincerely without envy. I have had many friends put on hold there lives and there careers to support men. And if any men feels bad reading this I am sorry but very rarely you will see a man putting there life on hold for a woman. I had the bad experience of having a good friend die and see her husband laughing at her funeral happily cashed life insurance and move his mistress quickly, 25 years of marriage meant garbage. You can see their discussion at almost the end of episode 2. Trust me he got married out of spite. But the thing is he will never escape whom he is.

Wow this writer gets me every time with her thought provoking raw life writing. That is why dalja's spring is in my top favourite drama of all time.
