Have you ever watched a movie with a certain scene/words, that healed something in you you did not know needed healing. This was it for me. A sensitive movie , maybe to the watcher would be an age gap thing? You decide.....

ALICE IN BORDERLAND was so well made, I made the mistake of watching it right after SWEET HOME and the struggle was real to find something that could make me just submerge in that world. Until i decided to watch HOT STOVE LEAGUE I went in with zero expectations and watched it in 2 days. Also there is such a great start with anime MAPPA doing SNK justice and then we have NEVERLAND, TENSEI SLIME, NANATSU, DR. STONE and the new Isekai, just forgot the name. Yes, you nailed it, I really like those Genre. I would recommend one that just started 2 Psychos the female lead is the same lead of my favourite Japanese movie CYBORG SHE the ML is Issei. Webtoon I recommend YOUR THRONE I swear the FL Medea is like L and Light wrapped in one person. Also WHEN THE VILLAINESS LOVES it is so well written and the eye candy perfect, for laughs definitely MISS NOT SO SIDEKICK.
Hey! Thanks for your detailed reply. I felt that I wanted to know since , with the exception of W, I had the same opinion. W i guess also when I saw it airing quite frankly it is a sad drama of a man that was dealing with great depression and it showed in his comic. Besides My Lovely Kim Sam Soon this is the drama my mom and I have most rewatched. I understoood why the writer made the choices and why they seemed chaotic. But in my, mostly read Stephen King and watch lots of anime since the 80's(yes way back in the day), mind i get them. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I like this Genre, and W definitely was the ground breaker. In fact in Seoul, when you walked the streets, you felt that you were in W cuz all the music played was from that soundtrack. I have seen all that you mentioned above and will try this one as well. Is there any other drama with this theme, that you know of ? Do you read webtoons or manga, as well?
On this day 2020 December day 44, I tried to again retake this drama. I started watching it when it was airing. Had high expectarions cause ELF's always support SuJu and the Fashion Editor thing (i highly recommend if you are a quirky fashionable bookworm, JIMI NI SUGOI) anyways , the only drama I have been able to finish with HJE is SECRET , watched it airing and it is stellar. So here I am again still not understanding, why her overacting like skit comedy, or how anyone cannot get stressed from watching a person being mocked, stepped on and put down (especially by the person she protected from being bullied) In my case I know that this is a trigger for me (there is verbal abuse that actually makes me feel anxious) and if I were her co-worker OH WELL i would have been taking all that up with HR, But still I have tried but I dunno as I watch it I see many things that are there to make it great, but it is like someone wanted to sabotage it. There is a story, great visuals on set, and great actors. BUT it is like a puzzle with all the pieces but they do not quite fit (pun intended). I have a few dramas I have retaken to watch and they have been gems. Even though I did not want to drop this one after 5 years, I am done trying. (Not even the chinese one, i will drop as well) PARA DIFERENTES GUSTOS DIFERENTES COLORES ( for different tastes, different colors). So if you scroll down you will see comments both favorable and against, so please respect that cause each opiniom has their own truth.
I am so sorry to hear you had to go through that on a site that is for people to just support each others likes and dislikes. In the beginning it was odd to find such a person and as a group we took care of each other and it was not permitted. The person got banned. I was inactive for a while and just started more like a year ago. I have noticed this "trend" of disrespect and that is why my feeds are private. I comment only on my own, if someone like you appears I comment back. There is many people, specially with the situation since 2020, that I guess handle their issues differently. I do not think that for , respect, common sense and basic manners there is an age treshold or that it excuses bad behaviour. Take care of yourself, Do not take it to heart, most likely it is a reflection of what they receive or perceive of themselves.
Hey! Thank you so much for checking it out. I completely understand, as it is and older drama. I liked the bromance, the dad and daughter lobe and how deafness was portrayed. Overalll how humans with special needs faced discrimination in Korea. Nam has this Park Hae Jin Vibe for me and this drama CYHMY was the first drama I saw him and he stood out. I had forgotten there is another drama I need romance 3 , with one of my favourite actressess , you might want to check that out and let me know.

This is hilarious. Have not watched it yet. But he is definitely a scene stealer. Even in the first drama I saw him DRAMAWORLD. I think it would be Interesting to see him acting in a drama opppsite Lee Jun Ki.
