Wait, what is going on? International fans aren't really aware of weibo stuff... Is there a summary? 🙏
Yes, of course, I'm honestly really looking forward to this drama because my two favorite actors are on screen together. They are both very professional actors and very peaceful without any scandals. I'm more focused on the chaotic and disappointing writing, with many scenes of the main characters being cut out, which seems intentional. I’m furious about one episode that cut out the entire main character’s scenes (only showing the beginning and end minutes) and instead focused entirely on the supporting characters. This is completely unreasonable for the main character’s role?? The excessive provocation is extremely detrimental to my two precious actors. I’m deeply upset and saddened by everything LYT & CY have had to endure.

I hope that in the future, both of them will get better projects... I hope that today's setback will prove that they are great actors.

As a longtime fan of Jie Tong, I feel genuinely heartbroken reading her first public legal complaint. The fact…
For screenshot evidence, you can visit the Weibo link I provided in the first comment.

I am very, very sad to see and read this. Many comments have been censored because they have gone too far. This is very, very cruel. Even Jie Tong remains silent as usual, while comments continue to pour in non-stop and are even being stirred up...

I fully understand that every actress and actor has their own haters, but in my opinion, this has gone too far, to the point where Jie Tong has to take legal action...

Wait, what is going on? International fans aren't really aware of weibo stuff... Is there a summary? 🙏
Recently, Li Yitong’s studio released an official legal statement announcing that she has filed her first lawsuit against individuals involved in severe online harassment. She took this step only after months of enduring it patiently, because the situation during the airing of her latest drama had become unbearable.

Throughout the broadcast period, she faced countless baseless accusations, including claims that she acted like a “diva lead actress,” when in fact she was completely excluded from all official drama promotion for the first 24 full episodes.

To clarify: “not featured” does not mean she was absent from the drama — she appeared in every episode.
But she was entirely erased from all official promotional content, including:

No official posters featuring her

No new still cuts of her character

No trailers or teasers showing her

No behind-the-scenes videos

No interviews or promotional variety shows

No mentions on the drama’s official social media for 24 episodes straight

No promotional support for her character at all

This is extremely unusual for a main cast member.

While some people accused her of “not putting effort into promoting the drama,” the truth is the complete opposite — and there is visual proof of it:

📌 She promoted the drama using her own time, money, and effort
— She prepared gifts like snacks, milk tea, red envelopes, and over 1,000 small fan gifts.
— She personally knitted scarves for her fans.
— She did weekly drama promotions on her own social accounts.
— She posted COS photos, themed content she produced herself, and many drama-related videos (some receiving over 900k likes).
— She made her own 45-second promotional videos.
— She joined livestream events that reached over 1 million viewers.
— She promoted the drama nonstop on Weibo from Oct 25–31, even while she had a high fever.

📌 Her studio also handled extra promotion despite receiving zero promotional materials from the production team
Because the production provided no official photos or media materials, her team had to create everything themselves — costumes, camera work, makeup, editing, graphics, even props.

Despite all of this, some people still accused her of “not doing anything” or “trying to draw attention to herself,” which is clearly false when you look at the facts.

Furthermore, according to her studio’s statement, certain individuals within the production team were subtly undermining her — including people connected to the drama’s merchandise, who reportedly made disrespectful comments about her. These actions fueled public misunderstandings and increased the hate directed toward her.

She was also falsely accused of adding extra scenes or altering the script for her own benefit, even though her character was the one that ended up being disadvantaged.

According to the official statement, the situation worsened because there were individuals inside the production who were intentionally sabotaging her, and people connected to the drama’s merchandise who made inappropriate remarks about her. All of this led to more hostility and negative public opinion.

Despite everything, Li Yitong continued to work hard. She had no control over production decisions, but she remained professional — filming with dedication, promoting the drama seriously, and even preparing fan gifts while she had a high fever. She also released COS photos as a fan bonus, yet some people still accused her of “trying to distract the public,” an accusation that is completely unfair.

The cyberbullying she received was extremely severe. Aside from attacks on her looks and personal dignity such as:

“你滚出娱乐圈吧” (“Get out of the entertainment industry.”)

“丑女还敢演大女主?” (“An ugly woman like you dares to play the female lead?”)

She was also attacked with comments belittling her career status, such as:

“谁认识你啊?” (“Who even knows you?”)

“糊成这样还想炒作?” (“You’re this unpopular yet trying to hype yourself up?”)

“这种不红的女艺人有什么好维护的?” (“Why defend an actress who isn’t even famous?”)

Some comments even targeted her private life, completely unrelated to the drama.
All of this has been used as evidence of the cyberbullying she suffered.

Because the harassment went far beyond normal criticism, her studio emphasized that the internet is not a lawless place and legal action is necessary to protect her rights. She even filed the lawsuit only after the drama finished airing, showing how patient she had been.

This case is not about blaming any particular fandom or attacking another actor.
It is about holding accountable the specific individuals who spread hatred, created rumors, and crossed moral and ethical boundaries.

I sincerely hope the truth becomes clear and that those responsible face the consequences of their actions. No actor deserves to endure such cruel treatment simply for doing their job. I fully support Li Yitong in protecting her dignity and mental well-being.

As a longtime fan of Jie Tong, I feel genuinely heartbroken reading her first public legal complaint. The fact that she finally chose to take this step shows just how unbearable the situation had become for her. She has always been professional, quiet, and dedicated to her craft, never the type to stir controversy or fight back harshly, even when she was treated unfairly.

Seeing her reach the point where she has no choice but to defend herself legally is truly painful. She didn’t deserve any of the baseless accusations or the online harassment she faced during the drama’s broadcast. Jie Tong has always worked hard, respected her roles, and treated everyone with sincerity.

I truly hope people can learn to show more empathy and stop spreading harmful rumors. I also believe that the malicious actions behind this situation likely caused by a few individuals who simply dislike her, will be brought to light and resolved as soon as possible. No one should suffer because of the reckless behavior of a handful of people.

I stand firmly with Jie Tong, and I fully support her in protecting her rights and dignity. No one should have to endure so much negativity before being taken seriously. 🥺❤️‍🩹

I’m not really sure if there’s still a chance this drama will drop by the end of the year, what do you guys think? But honestly, I’ve gotten so used to waiting that it feels like 10 decades pass every single month. So maybe waiting a little longer isn’t a big deal (especially with that 2026 tag on Weibo 👀). I’m just hoping it’ll finally air in early Q1… Let’s keep cheering for our Wanquan Fugui and Qing Tong!!! 🎉🥳

But I'm still confident that FSMS&B will be aired this year because I saw the 2025 year tag on the IQiyi app. Let's look forward to it together.

iQIYI tentatively plans to hold its Autumn iJoy Conference this September, and we hope to get news about the drama…
Yeah, I also hope it will air sooner, I can’t wait until November, that feels too long 😭 but it seems like it won’t air earlier than October since TJOL is rumored to air in September

Both are high budget drama, it can't air both at same time.
So what I mean is, could TJOL be in September and FSMS&B in October? Or will the gap have to be more than 2 months?

Hey guys, is it true that TJOL will air before FSMS&B? If they can’t be released in the same month, is there a chance they’ll only be one month apart?

I'm so happy that my two favorite actors finally played together, LYT & CY!!! Although it's a shame that HL was filming the production but Fox Spirit Matchmaker Sword and Beloved aired first, but I'm still waiting for you two to collaborate again in the future!
