What an emotional and frustrating drama! There were moments when I wanted to reach through the screen and knock some sense into Gu Chen Ye! LOL. How can a man promise a woman a lifetime of happiness, only to repeatedly break her heart?

What upset me most wasn't simply what happened with Meng Zhi Yao or the pregnancy, but how Gu Chen Ye continued making choices that hurt Chi Nian. One mistake may be forgiven, but repeated betrayals slowly destroy the love and trust two people once shared.

Now, Chi Nian! I truly admired her strength. She loved deeply, endured heartbreak, and eventually realized that loving someone should never mean sacrificing her own happiness and peace of mind. Sometimes walking away takes more courage than staying.

What I appreciated most about this story was that it reminded us not every love story needs a happy ending with the original couple. Sometimes the happiest ending is choosing yourself, finding freedom, and leaving behind someone who failed to appreciate your love.

Gu Chen Ye may have loved Chi Nian, but love without respect, honesty, and consideration means very little.

Overall, sometimes losing the person you love is how you finally find yourself. ❤️
