I think even if they knew about the scar at that point , there was no reason to assume anyone else besides Zang Hai’s family knew of the scar under his clothes, let alone the son of the main villain

I mean ,yeah, they even explain it in the series. Also it’s been established since episode 2 that the protagonist’s main weak point is that he is not in fact ruthless. He has revenge in his heart but he doesn’t seem to be bad or devious by nature. I think if anything it makes him more interesting
