I’m confused if Pats mom wasnt in the issue between Prans mom and Pats dad why in ep 1 did she went along and…
I guess when it’s your spouse’s feud, you will naturally take their side. There is no reason to do so otherwise. Else, one can also say why Pran’s dad didn’t try to mediate between his wife and Pat’s dad.
The actress playing Pran mom is so great. I can really feel all her anguish in this episode. What she did to Pran…
I agree! K.Ple acting was amazing. I guess now u can understand why she looks at Pat’s family with such anger and hatred. Her raw emotions can be seen when she confronted Ming. And you are right I think it’s not how well life eventually turned out, but rather how could it be so much better that makes her unable to forgive him.
The part when Pran says that he is not like other kids because of the way his mum raised him. How do you guys interpret it? I don’t think it meant sexuality, but the rather Pran’s inability to convey his feelings, or his reluctance to upset anyone. E.g. he didn’t want to upset Wai, or even his mini emotional meltdown after Pat’s dad found out but then he nonchalantly picked up the fruits and carried on walking like nothing happened. Maybe that’s why he has all the smileys post it and pictures all around to express his emotions. What do you all think?
Apparently unpopular opinion: Pran's mother made the right decison (or at least "a" right decision if not "the")…
I wouldn’t say right or wrong decision, but it was the decision a mother made to protect her son. Pat was Pran’s strongest competitor, and they were becoming friends so Pran’s mother had to step in because she didn’t want what happened to her to happen to her son.
The question has been eating away at me. Pran apologising makes a lot of sense in this situation. He doesn't even…
Sorry I went to bed last night already. It wasn’t explicitly mentioned in the video but I get the feeling Pat and Pran knew it was Wai.
With regards to a tweet where Ohm said he didn’t know it was Wai. I think that was in the context of filming, on how he didn’t know about Wai scene cos he wasn’t in it. So when he watch the episode in it’s entirety he was very frustrated at what happened.
I don’t think we will ever get clarity, and the series looks like it is just moving on to the next issue which is the parents. This is an issue that affected me and was why I felt it was so hard to accept Wai’s redemption. Forcefully outing someone is a dangerous thing, I am slightly sad that P’Aof didn’t use this chance to educate people about this.
It wasn’t too hard learning to speak. The writing was the most difficult part. But it took a lot of practice and time before I accumulated enough vocab to watch videos without subs. I recommend watching more series, and listening to Thai songs to increase exposure to the language.
Hope this helps, let me know if there is any particular scene you would like to know, just drop the time stamp of the video and I will try to translate asap :)
So this is the answer after Ohm asked why wasn’t Pran angry with what Wai did:
P’Jack: Because Pran knew along he was hiding the issue from his closest friend and there wasn’t a right moment to tell him. So when they were caught and the curtain fell, the first thought that came to his mind was that he lied to his closest friend, and now that he is caught, how should he make up with his friend.
P’Aof: If you look at the details along the way (past episodes), you will see Pran always protects and take Pat’s side when he clashes with Wai
Ohm: Understand. So it’s like every time when something happens, Pran will choose to save Pat first
P’Aof: Yes both directly and indirectly. Even when sometimes Pat is at fault like when he follow them to the camp and was a pest to the architecture students
Yes, I chose the Thai language as one of my majors back when I was I doing my bachelors degree. Everyone said I was crazy, but now I finally know the reason why I did it. LOL!
Just watched the recap of soon vijarn. I am so glad that Ohm brought up the issue on why Pran wasn’t angry with Wai at all. It was good to hear the explanation by both P’Jack and P’Aod. I feel like a burden has rolled off my chest and I am ready to accept Wai’s redemption a little more now.
Yes, Wai spent almost the whole episode showing everyone how childish he is.
Especially the part when Wai said “its nice to be someone who makes a mistake, you just apologise and it’s all good” omg the irony of the statement. If Wai was really as good of a friend to Pran as he said, he would have confronted Pran in private and not attempt to out and humiliate him in front of everyone. What if Pran got bullied by some homophobic people? What if he become suicidal. Understand I’m probably overthinking again, but I felt P’Aof missed the chance here to educate others the dangers of forcefully outing someone.
Like how supportive Korn was. And am glad the friends are all cool. This episode focused on Wai feelings as Pran’s best friend in order to justify why was he angry, but I wished it could stress more on the dangers of forcefully outing someone. In this case, it worked to the couple’s advantage to allow them to become more expressive. But irl, it can often be tragic. Said it before and will say it again, Wai owes Pran and Pat an apology still.
Lol..that Jean is somethingelse…and he has no shamewhich I think does reflect how many feel in today’sworld.…
Yes, that Jean is so lame. I can’t believe he comes back and ask for a competition. The sweet day guys should just all ignore him. Like why even bother with him?
