I started watching this randomly as it was recommended on YouTube. Didn’t expect to like it but was pleasantly surprised. Granted the plot was a little rushed, but was not bad for 8 episodes. Like that there was a mix of comedy, drama and life lessons. Not the best but certainly enjoyable.
Finally Friday’s are back to normal! Looking forward to see how this unfolds. More excited than I should have been to see P’Aof’s cameo in this ep 1. Haha
Wait.. how did Pitch and Bank get together?! Did I miss something? (I did fwd a little cos it was to cringey to watch) Last I remembered it was the motorbike scene outside Pitch’s place, and that ambiguous answer “I only feel this way towards you” in no way Bank agreeing to be with Pitch… WHAT HAPPENED?! I MUST KNOWWW
Anyway, how dense can Juno and Tok Taeng get? God, I really feel so bad for them in which how they were written. Even after Pitch told them that they were not the only one. You still show up at the hospital with your Korean apple to ask Sun for a date?!
I got my hopes high thinking the girls purposely did that to get the guys to admit they were in a relationship, and then give them a piece of their mind for playing with their heart, before eventually wishing them the best. But no, they were shocked by the revelation and had to go out and cry. 🙄
All in all, the concept of the show was good, it was ok to watch but you will not be blown away.I did think there was potential in the plot and perhaps could have been better if there was more episodes, and maybe more intense workshop. Some of the emotions could have been better conveyed, instead it made me hit the forward button cause I seriously felt the second hand embarrassment for the actor.
today ep hit too hard it actually made me cry. Watching Pi feel & look like a side character was so relatable…
Agree, as someone who is outstanding at being average, this ep was painfully relatable. You are always the side character and it’s not like you can just “ignore what others think”. Only the Morks are entitled to that luxury, because the world truly revolves around them.
Omg the whole ep was pointless. There was almost nothing going on in the whole time. Everything is in slow motion, Jin needed 8 seconds to reply to Som “can we be friends”. Filled with awkward pauses and flashbacks, remove all these and the ep will be probably 10 mins, including beginning and ending credits.
Wow episode 9 was an emotional roller coaster. I smiled, cried, got mad and cried more again. I don’t even know how to describe my feelings now, but overall it was a beautiful episode. I loved the raw emotions and the reality of it. Like how I could see it really happening in real life.
Some of my thoughts, there are a lot of comments raging on how Phupha told Tian to live his own life but at the same time told him to move back to Bangkok. I think in this case, there is a difference. What he meant was to stop living with the guilt of Torfun’s death but to live his life for himself.
But at the same time, it doesn’t change the fact that it was the best for Tian to go back to Bangkok. At 21 years old, you literally cannot run off to the mountains with a guy 10 years older than you. As cliche as it sounds, he really needed know his options, experience life and yes, get his college degree too. And Tian knew this too, which is why he couldn’t find another reason to stay, except for Phupha to tell him to stay. And it wouldn’t be Phupha, if he had told Tian to stay, knowing what is at stake. Also, I don’t think it was Phupha trying to direct Tian’s life, but it’s what you will tell some one younger because you have seen more of life. (Just like how my 30 year old self will tell my 20 year old self not to do many things)
I guess this is where reality really hits me, because it’s easy to say love will get us through everything as long as we choose it. But such is life, and we often have to make the decisions we don’t want to because we know it is better. Another really realistic part, was Khama talking about the children and volunteer Teachers. This is really a social issue, and something that I hold very personally as well.
I don’t know what will happen but I hope Tian will go back, get his degree, find himself and direction in life, and then go back to Phupha on his own terms. As Tul said very bluntly before, Tian’s life in the village now, isn’t his life now.
Just some initial thoughts I have. I’m looking forward to the final episode!
Well, for the shaving scene I'm sure the beard was already 100% gone (if it was ever really there - I think it…
Agree the beard was an overkill. I couldn’t take that scene seriously because of it. I think just an unshaven stubble and dark circle under the eyes would have suffice. Random, but I think in actual life Earth doesn’t look like he will be able to grow a beard even if left alone for months. Maybe that’s why he looked so weird.
Tian doesn’t have a giant bag of money. His father does. That’s the difference, and I don’t think his parent will approve the weekend trip to the village to hook up with a man 10 years older than him. So there goes the money and that option. Just my thoughts.

I think Bank looks like a mix of Bright and Ice Paris
Tian as in Seetian = เทียน
“A real king is greater than his crown, a real man is more than his clothes”
