I think Longtae and Phupha is a perfect example why you do not abandon your friends after getting a lover. Sometimes, your lover just cannot react logically, and you have to just fall back to your friends for support.

Yes! There’s always someone like Sakda, rich and influential but cannot live without cheating villagers trying to make ends meet. I don’t think it’s the money he cares about, but the satisfaction he gets lording over others and trampling all over them. Hence, Tian really infuriates him and gets his special attention because he is getting the villagers to stand up against him.
This is a great series, I resisted watching immediately cos I didn’t want to be waiting. I started episode 1 when episode 6 was released, but I finished all 6 episode in a go and now I’m still left waiting!! What have I done?! Sobs... Love the refreshing storyline, no weird ex gf plot, no “I’m not gay” plot. Chemistry is great and supporting actors are amazing too. OMG how am I going to survive the week!!
While I too agree with Wi Gen’s decision, I felt that the way Yung handle things seem a little irresponsible. Like example, erase So Mun memories but not everyone else’s, or let him go back to his powerless disabled self with no protection while there is a level 3 evil spirit out there trying to kill him.
Wi Gen could have intervene earlier and told him whatever she said, since she can feel all his emotions, and not wait till shit hit the fan, and just strip his powers.
Also, the whole counter deal seems a little off for the counters, you get awoken from a coma, live in the human world but cannot meddle with human affairs. Risk your life all the time, and get fired if you have 5 mistakes. Makes me wonder what happened to all the previous counters, since So Mun was 1543. Were they killed in action or did they made 5 mistakes?
Well it has been a nice feel good experience so far. I like all the interactions, but i had to set some logic aside, in this episode it felt like Sarawat had died or something. Seriously 2 weeks apart and this happens, this relationship is toxic. Hahaha, not hating on the show, but maybe like a 2 month exchange programme or something will be more realistic.
I like Phukong and Mil relationship more now. The way Phukong handled it was great. It was awesome to see some straight forward interaction here. And what did the both of them do? They are looking extra good in this series! Haha
I need time to think was the episode weird or was it the editing that was bad. I felt like the scenes were jumping all over the place. Maybe it will make sense in the last episode where they show what happened in the in between.
And how can scenes that were not shown be in the trailer last week? Was it because there were barely anything else from this episode that could be in the trailer?
Also, was this episode shorter than usual? I dunno, or is it because the plot didn’t really move, or too many scenes that I forwarded maybe?
I find myself slightly more invested in Man Type story. I just find the thing about money very realistic though.
I guess I’ll just wait for the last episode before saying anything else.
I really like this series and I liked EP10 a lot, so I was really anticipating EP11, but I admit I was kind of disappointed by it.
1. The pacing. In EP10, so much happened, even before the opening theme song. In this EP, it was so draggy, until I just wanted to forward it sometimes.
2. Are these even the same characters we have been meeting every Friday for the past months? Sarawat knew that Tine saw the video, he knows that Tine is troubled by it and has even misunderstood him (he wasn’t really knocked out by the beer). Yet, he just let Tine be, just because he was shy. Gosh, if the guy you liked since high school is feeling insecure because of a video you made for him. I think it will be better to show it to him. And since when Sarawat ever felt shy about Tine?!
Next, who is this silent passive Tine?! What happened to “hello, I’m Tine, mr chic chic”. What is wrong with him? Maybe it’s his first boyfriend, maybe it’s hard to tell Mil that he has a boyfriend. But how hard is it to tell someone that he cannot sit with him on the bus? You don’t need to have a boyfriend to sit with someone else on the bus. When Mil put his arm around you, you can just politely move his arm away, especially in the Thai culture, where physical contact isn’t something everyone is comfortable with.
3. That’s it? The bracelet has no significance? Tine reaction was like “oh no.” He didn’t even seem like he was trying to look for it. Once again, Sarawat has to be his mouthpiece, and run around to look for it. I would rather he snuck out at night to look for the bracelet rather than to apologise to the shrine. That could have already be done when it was burning down.
4. Mil, his ridiculous, bordering harassment, behaviours is even worse than those “scheming BL ex girlfriends”. It’s ok to like someone who is attached, and treat them nice because you like them. But it’s NOT ok to act as if you can take care of the person better than their boyfriend. So what if you think you can take care of Tine better than Sarawat, that means Tine should be with you?! And if it was intended for Phukong to be with him, I’m just afraid it will be an “ok, last episode, so you guys need to get together now” kind of thing. (Will they get together? Someone please spoil it for me!)
Sorry for the rant. Maybe it’s because this EP wasn’t in the novel, I felt it was kind of out of place. Still I enjoyed the backstory, and I still love the characters. I’m looking forward to next Friday. But maybe I would not be rewatching this EP 56384242 times (as usual) while waiting for next Friday.
