As I watch, I can’t help but think about the ethical implications of the swap—especially considering the scale…
100%, a lot of how this drama will land rests on the reveal. The ethics of it are questionable and I hope the drama doesn't shy away from taking it seriously just because it may make audiences uncomfortable.
Its just so dumb to me that this tries to portray somewhat heavier themes but then plays to haha funny gaslighting…
Gasligt ML is what I have concerns about, he feels like a wet blanket atm. but I do think it is framed well with Mi Ji not being exactly a plan things out kinda person. I'm going to have patience to see how it handles it, so far it has genuinely understood that even its comedy has some heavier implications, and has handled them with a dose of maturity.
If it turns out they play with him the entire drama and never treat that as serious as it honestly is, I'll deffo be mad.
ig we will get to see abt mirae on the upcoming eps. upto ep3, we are shown all abt miji and nothing properly…
We are witnessing Mi Rae's life through Mi Ji's eyes. That is kinda how it has been since ep 1, Mi Ji is the true lead. We are kinda doing the same through Mi Rae as well. It's slow, but it is consistent, let's have patience.
I hate romance usually, seriously. But I am really liking this so far, Ho Su is a bit clueless but he doesn't strike me as fanservice pure prince ML so far. I like how both Mi Ji and Mi Rae are going in their arcs, confronting each others lives and gaining a better understanding of each other and more importantly themselves.
After all, They didnt did same starting ... It has own stamina... They did a lot of things in first episode, but…
Honestly, I wish i was as happy as you, I'm just disappointed and depressed. I think this pilot should be studied in college. As an example of how not to do a pilot episode.
Lol, on point. Seriously tho why tf are people praising this ML, he acts like a 5 year old while being at least…
I don't get it personally. It's a shame cause it's not like there AREN'T investable conflicts for the ML here. If this were just about PBG's character, a disgraced boxer looking to redeem himself through police work, then fine. But you are doing it in the most ass backward way possible.
The show should have shown us PBG falling from grace immediately, WITH the reason as to WHY, not just a "oh look he ain't boxin no more so his life kinda eh".
E1 was quite average. Instead of feeling like a premiere, it felt more like E4 or 5. There was no proper setup…
Finally, at least someone agrees with me. I seriously just wanted it to end like half way. Nothing interesting was happening and the goddamn 15 cuts per second hurt my brain. PBG's character is just a standard FL obsessed goofy dork who is mentally 6 years old, and the rest of the cast is either obnoxious (HST's character) or the wettest blankets in terms of personality.
I understand people will say "oh it's just the first episode". So great, you've wasted 90 minutes of my time on nothing. Thanks.
These pure virgin Kdrama ML's who have been with FL since they were toddlers are killing Kdramas.Another Kdrama…
I don't watch romance dramas but PBG's character here is not a real character he is just fanservice personified. I know it's meant to be an action drama and not a realistic one but this character still feels so stupid and unbelievable.
And the rest of the leads are either obnoxious comic relief (HST) or are just bland so far. Not a personality trait in sight.
is this written by a female screenwriter? why is ML already a doormat with no self respect.ps: Thank God it's…
Lol, on point. Seriously tho why tf are people praising this ML, he acts like a 5 year old while being at least 25. Not a female screenwriter, the screenwriter of this did Life on Mars before where the ML has tons of self respect and is a believable human being. How the hell did we get from that cast of Life on Mars to this.
That was the worst pilot I've ever seen. Incredibly boring from start to near finish, sloppy writing, atrocious camerawork, boring characters, trying to do a milion things at once, scenes literally feeling like actors forgot their lines at times.
It's why I dropped A Daily Dose of Sunshine. You can't show me serious anxiety patient mixed with whacky visuals and hemhhoroid jokes.
Seoul isn't quite as bad as Sunshine atm, so I'm fine with it as is, but a LOT of it relies on how it handles it from now on.
If it turns out they play with him the entire drama and never treat that as serious as it honestly is, I'll deffo be mad.
