I have limited access sadly so I don't know how many are listed there. But this year CNY video included 5 of them- Tian Jiarui, Yan An, Sun Chenjun, Omid and Wu Han.

I believe the Season 2 rumor. I just choose to ignore those speculated names for now. Seems like someone is trying to stir up trouble. There is already so much bad blood between fandoms, and this melon is making it worse.

I think this melon is targeted hate. It's more than suspicious.

I'm choosing to ignore this melon. Maybe I'm sensitive, but it's suspicious how they only used YA and TJR's names from the original cast. It's like all those melons from last year where their names were included in casting rumors for GJM's new dramas, and they got so much hate for it.

And for now, all we know for sure is that there are talks about Season 2. I guess time will tell.

Well, my source is random comments on XHS, so I’m not any better. But that Youku policy talk was also mentioned in the same comment where Taotie was mentioned, so they were supposedly forced to reduce the episode count.

And I think I saw somewhere that the budget was already about 300M yuan, so I guess that might also be the reason why we only got 29 episodes.

I think episode count was reduced because of Youku's policy? Or at least some people thought this was reason.
