I really wish Detective Adventures S4 had proper subs for all episodes and not just a few 😭 The machine-translated ones drive me insane. I could probably live with a few translation mistakes (since my own English is poor anyway) here and there, but at least get the names right 😭 I really want to watch the whole season properly.

Hahaha, the Hello Saturday episode was kind of a follow-up to Rui’s mission in Detective Adventures 😂 When Meng Ziyi offered him her contact and Rui was like, “I already have it.” He failed that mission so miserably back then, but then casually gave away how many dialects he could speak and helped another member complete their task 😭 He was so innocent in the early episodes, but he learned quickly 😂

Yup, they were the best couple for me too. Although, yeah, I might be a "little" biased😂They have great natural chemistry, and they both seem to just go with the flow instead of trying to play someone else for variety.

Hopefully the fans listen to him and stay home until the production moves to a safer location. The last thing he needs is to be worrying about someone getting hurt because they came to see him.

It would make sense, but wouldn’t we know by now? Or maybe it’s a pre-recording for some kind of Mid-Autumn Festival event.

What were your favorite moments? Which scenes made you laugh the most? 😂 Whose interactions did you enjoy the most? And anything else that stood out to you? 👀

Personally, I really enjoyed both episodes. 🥰 Definitely my favorite variety show episodes with Rui this year. They should just make him a regular at this point 🤞🥹

From what I understand, they do have regulars who only appear a few times throughout the season and don’t have to be there for every episode, right? 👀 So that wish shouldn’t be completely impossible.

Out of his skits with Meng Ziyi, I personally liked the first two the best. 😂Dragging and poisoning. So over the top, yet so funny.

Zhu Bajie seemed to be the most popular one among Chinese fans, but since I haven’t watched any version of Journey to the West, I don’t really have that emotional connection to the character, so it wasn’t my first choice. But honestly, all of the skits were good. 🥰

And that needle-poking skit ended so hilariously, with both of them too embarrassed to even show their faces. 😂🙈

I love how seriously he takes even these little skits and how he adjusts his voice to fit each character. The way his tone changes so much between them is really fun to listen to. 😂

Maybe he should consider asking fans who or what they want him to imitate and then make some mini videos based on their suggestions. 👀

As for his teaming up with Meng Ziyi, it was nice to see them actually working together as a team for a change. 😂 On their previous appearances, most of the focus was on them bickering and trying to figure out which one of them was the undercover. 😂

And judging by the reactions I saw on XHS, they seem to have gained quite a few new fans as a duo. Now people want to see them in a drama together. 👀😂

Rui and Li Xueqin’s team, on the other hand, seemed to have quite a good luck. 😂 It was also kind of a mini reunion for them. I remember Li Xueqin from that drawing game on Laugh Together, where Rui was already confused by default and she somehow managed to confuse him even more. 😂

Rui and Yang Di are always fun to watch together 😂 And they probably have the longest history out of everyone here. I think Yang Di mentioned in that Hello Saturday episode with Rui and Cheng Lei that he’d already known Rui for a couple of years by then.

Rui and Ding Yuxi. The whole tail offer because he felt sorry for him was lol🤣

Rui and Deng Enxi. It was nice to see that they still seem so comfortable around each other, even though it’s already been two years since Divas Hit the Road.

Overall it was fun to watch.
