For me, it was while My Journey to You was airing. I originally started watching it because I liked Yu Shuxin, but the moment Gong Yuanzhi showed up at the end of episode 1, I was sold, and the rest is history.
I ended up loving MJTY mostly because of him and his brotherhood with Gong Shangjue.
I also started watching Fangs of Fortune because of Tian Jiarui and, funnily enough, also because of Lin Ziye, since I loved their interactions during the MJTY behind-the-scenes content.
After MJTY, I became a fan, but after FOF, I became a big fan. I even started watching some of his variety show appearances, like the Hello Saturday episodes with Cheng Lei and the FOF main cast, plus a lot of other FOF promotions. I also started following Veil of Shadows filming reuters.
About a year ago, I had more free time because of health reasons, so I finally created a Xiaohongshu account and also started watching variety shows where he was a regular cast member. I guess that’s when I became a huge fan.
I think I’m also improving this year because I actually started writing more here on MDL. Even though I still don’t feel confident at all doing it, I still want to interact with people who share the same interests.
Too many to list 🤣🤣 But currently I think my favorite Jilu scenes are from episode 29 — when baby LWY chooses to trust and help Ji Ling, and how tender Ji Ling was with her.
