Yes this! I really don't get the sentiment 'let the world burn, I'll rather prioritize the girl'. If that was the Emperor and all he care about was his queen and doesn't care about his people. Everyone would be like, he's such an evil emperor. If ML does it, oh it's so romantic. He loves her above everything. I really don't get that.

Absolutely. The characters are so well-developed. I'm so impressed with SZN. She had alot of potential in TTEOTM but she really shines here and she's so gorgeous too. Hope she gets more main roles.

I have to give props to ML even though the FL stabbed him and said all these stuff about deceiving him and never loved him (to save him), he didn't doubt her love for him after he had time to think about it. This would have been such a huge misunderstanding in other dramas.

The ML is being a total simp, doing so much for the FL and the way she treated him is really hard to watch. I really have no idea why he fell in love with her. Definitely not for her personality so probably her looks. I'll drop this at ep 13 for now. I just want him to leave her be and find someone else who appreciate him. That's how much I dislike this FL.

I just started this and the FL is too annoying and hostile. I really don't like this reckless and stubborn personality, wish she was calmer and be smarter about her 2nd chance. She is really dumb if she thinks the ML is evil, why would you provoke him time and time again and also flex your love for the 2ML to him and everyone. If he was truly evil and doesn't love her, she and the SML would have died a thousand times.

There are alot of demons taking over bodies as well so hard to tell the context without actually watching.

I haven't seen the videos you're referring to but this is Xianxia and people fight and kill each other on a regular basis so you can't put modern ideology in this and define any type of physical abuse as toxic.
