Unfortunately, I'm so disappointed it wasn't showed at all Mai's love for Le though. Instead, the Xu in-laws relationships became the highlight after ep 13. I didn't feel any regret from her at all for leaving and no effort at all to maintain their relationship.
Yeah was commenting earlier that I simply adores her. She is everywhere;) I saw her in so many recent dramas,…
Yes she definitely nailed all her roles. I used to think the Chinese child actors are inferior compare with the American child actors but now I'm beginning to change my mind. I've seen some really great child actors in many recent dramas.
Booooo you agree with the coach getting with a student and having an affair in his house where his sick wife who…
I didn't say I agree with it but I understand and I can sympathize with him. Not everything is black and white. Like I said above if he has needs, don't let the wife find out. It's not that hard to hide it from her. And I agree, he's terrible and insensitive to have the affair in the house. The husband and wife both choose this situation so will need to be tolerant with each others needs. Do the wife really expect her husband to take care of her for decades and not seek some companionship? She's not even able to communicate with him. It's a horrible situation to be in.
You're are not such a great person yourself to call someone you don't know a horrible human just because someone can sympathize with a person who did bad.
I would have enjoyed this alot more if I went in with the mindset in the beginning that it was a slice of life. Based on the trailers, I was expecting a mature romantic drama of 2 couples, something along the line of FITYMI. What I got was like 10 storylines so nothing was really fleshed out. I really enjoyed the first 10 eps, but by the 12 ep, the mains became supporting roles until the end.
People who is going to start this, know in advance, this is a slice of life drama and I think you'll enjoy this very much. It's well-made, beautiful OST and love the sceneries. Made me want to visit Macau in the future.
Done. Excellent slice of life drama. Beautifully shot, nicely written and I like the characters. They were fleshed…
Casey's approach to her parents, in real life, that would most likely not end well. I've never known any Asian parents who remained this calm after hearing that from their daughter. Filial piety is installed in them and expected. They can disown their own children but to have their own child saying let's not be a family, you're not my parents next time we meet, that would not have this peaceful outcome, given the type of parents they have shown us earlier. Just thought it was unrealistic.
It ended in a very happy way. The only thing that I wanted in this drama was that the Wen Peng need to get the…
Totally agree with this. So many dramas have the villain dying in the end or dying saving the FL. So glad he was accountable for his crimes and getting a death sentence.
Did you even watch the drama? Because this statement - SMLs are always attractive, decent, or portrayed as ideal…
I quickly bow out because it's just not worth my time. I have better use of my time than reading..uhm skimping over essays that are repetitive and nonsensical. Now that's embarrassing.
It's actually quite a good idea to punish kids by making them generate energy on those bikes than making them run laps around the field. I wonder if this is a real thing in Taiwan.
Did you even watch the drama? Because this statement - SMLs are always attractive, decent, or portrayed as ideal…
Ok you will see what you want to see. This is a crime drama and you want them to create another SFL just to balance the romance out? I'm not defending the drama and this story was far from flawless but this 'love triangle' with the SML was the least bothersome one in c-drama. There was no FL-SML bonding. The FL is in no way or form crossed the line or encouraged the SML to think he meant more to her than her senior. She even refused to call him anything else and most time, she refused his rides, help etc. Anyway I'm done here and not trying to win any argument.

I never twisted your words. I quoted you word for word - "Meanwhile, SMLs are always attractive, decent, or portrayed as ideal human beings for the FL." We are not talking about other dramas but if this SML is who you considered an ideal human being, then I have nothing more to say about this. The ML being a psycho killer was not an afterthought. Most of us saw it a mile away, hence the thrill/mystery was gone.
I understand exactly what you're trying to say and this SML did not fit with your narrative. If you say this in another drama where the SML was actually a decent guy, then I won't say anything but to put him in that category, that's where I have an issue with it.
I just watched ep 15-17 and Le and Mai only had one scene together. I seriously don't know what they were thinking with all those unnecessary scenes with the in-laws which add nothing to the story. I sort of ff or tuned them out. Support casts are usually there to support the main leads. In the last 5 episodes, I feel like the in-laws were the main leads. If on the last ep, the main leads don't have at least 50% of the airing time, the most i can rate this is an 8 as much as I enjoyed both lead couples.
