Well many delusional audience think that if FL have cleared up the cliff misunderstanding early, she would've picked SML. So it's not that obvious to some.

I read some of the comments here and I can see why they gave LJX a 'good' death. It seems like SML has quite a bit of fans (both for the actor and the novel). If you've read some of the comments here, they think he should be the ML instead. I guess the production has to cater to different taste.

Production is so weird sometimes. If you're not going to show it in the drama, why have it leaked out? people are not going to be upset about something they don't know.

I think it was implied some time has passed. She has always had a close bond with him and she admires him. There were together for months, not 10 years. Now she's aware they weren't related and he showing his feelings for her. I can see it gradually changed. She was avoiding him because she can feel the shift in feeling. It could happened.

Was this on episode 33? I didn't see it

SheYuan is the same as LJX, they both have a goal to reach and both will do everything to succeed. NO SY is NOT like LJX. He is not an obsessive psycho who has no regard for human lives except for the one he loves. SY will not kill innocent people or sacrifice them for his cause.

LSY is not poor. That man has so much money and properties. Probably way richer than the Duke. YN knows since that was one of her condition - she knows he has a secret stash lol

He did so much for her? What did he actually do for her?? He grabbed her, chocked her, threw her around, never listen to anything she said, tried to kill her brother and used her to threaten her brother etc. And you're wondering why she didn't love him back? If someone said, they no longer love you and have moved on. YOU LET GO. That's what a decent human being do, and not be an obsessive creepy scumbag.

I watched an interview with ZWY and Ren Min and ZWY did say the drama is a light heartfelt, relaxed and thoughtful drama, unlike the novel, so it was deliberately not included since that wasn't the theme they were going for.

I for one was so glad they didn't include the abduction of YN by LJX and them spending time together for a long period of time gives me the ick. Thank goodness it wasn't included. Even thinking about it gives me the creeps. To each their own.

And I don't think LYN here is a damsel in distress. She held her own in many situations. The only weakness she has is no martial arts so she can't defend herself against that but otherwise she uses her wits and able to resolve alot of issues on her own without LSY's help.
