I haven't watched the ending yet but I for one are so glad the FL didn't shed a single tear for him. If she did, I would be the one who is mad. It just makes me love this drama more lol I'm not even going to bother reading those ridiculous accusations against the FL.

That's just weird. I didn't think Ci Sha has alot of fans. The only main role he has was Guo Jing. I think most likely, are fans of the novel. I heard it's kind of divided between the 2 MLs and the FL did love him in the novel. But in the drama, the FL was never conflicted with her emotions regarding the SML after she moved on from the past.

Cheng Xiao acting improved quite a bit here. She has a lot more expression even though her character is supposed to be quite cold and serious.

In the beginning, before I knew about YN's assumed identity as her maid, I thought he was calling her mei mei as in little sister since in the flashback, YN acted so young and LJX looked like he was 10 years older than her. I actually thought it was uncle/niece kind of relationship.

Yeah I won't call him a hero either just because he sacrificed himself for the FL. She won't be in danger in the first place if he didn't put her there.

What I like about this drama is they don't keep misunderstandings from the viewers for long. They don't have to show Yang Ling knows because I had a feeling he was on it when LSY's assistant gave him the letter earlier but they cleared it up to save the audience from alot of angst.

Ah thank you! That makes sense since LJX was trying to disassociate himself from the PM and using the senior brother as scapegoat. So it's the PM's way of controlling him and reminded him they are in the same boat.

It's a cultural thing so it didn't bother me as much. Gege can also be an endearment term, similar to the Korean oppa. I remember watching Go back lover and the ML was flirting with FL and trying to get her to call him gege. She tried and finally said, nope I can't do it, it's too cringe.
