Couldn't have agreed more! I don't get all the hate on the 2nd couple either. They barely took 2-3 episodes out of 40 episodes and people wanted to boycott them along with the poor goose.

hahaha true. maybe I'll rewatch Minglan after this is done and I might get a better understanding. It was so long though and I think I might have dropped it after 50's episodes. I really can't remember how it ended.

You know that she ended up saving ML's life. If it wasn't for her, ML would have been shot with the arrow and taken down by LJX. She helped them get away when she set off the fireworks. Are we watching the same drama??

I get where you're coming from and I'm not saying that he doesn't deserved to be called out for how he treated LYN and not justifying his actions, but like @PeachBlossomGoddess said, his world was turned upside down by LYN - he loses his beloved concubine, he found out what happened to his 1st wife and was murdered by family member, and now he found out his daughter is not his daughter (the one that causes all this to come out), wife cheated on him will make him a laughingstock etc is alot for someone to take. I think his wife and mother are sympathetic to his situation, hence haven't said anything.

I give this a 7/10 for having the hottest kissing scenes and the last one that lasted for like 2-3 mins.

I thought all the misunderstandings will be over once they got married but it just kept on coming...nonstop until last episode. I really hate this not explaining/hiding information or not letting the other person explain but let's keep on torturing each other like that over and over. I really don't like the FL. She's so soft on that Muran and her aunt when they have given her the most harm and she trusts and forgives them easily but the ML didn't really do anything bad to her and she treated him horribly and never really trust him. Right. Good point. I guess from his point of view, his family has been torn apart and LYN is responsible. It's interesting though, not sure if it's the dynasty, but the Masters didn't have many concubines. The 1st master didn't even have one, just a main wife. The Duke didn't even have a wife. I never really seen this before. They usually have 1 main and 3-5 concubines.

You know that she was being smart by not revealing it. If she reveal her identity, what do you think will happen? That psycho will most likely kidnap her and forcefully marry her. You know it's something he would do since he has that power. She's very smart to wait until she is the Duke's daughter and LSY getting higher official rank so they can better protect her.

Yup he was never a good dad but I get why he need to vent his rage and frustration and poor LYN is the only one he can blame. His wife did cheat on him and passed off the kid as his. I think it's more his pride and reputation that he care the most. He doesn't want to be known as the sap whose wife cheated on him so when the Duke gave him a way out with the divorce letter, he took it so that means he wasn't cheated on by his wife since they were divorced at the time.

The grandmother wasn't feeling well, the mother went out to get Dr Du. 3rd brother was on his way back. The rest of the family couldn't help anyway.

I guess I should not be surprised at how the 'father' treated LYN after he found out she's not his blood. Just look at the way he treated LSY, like an animal and he is his blood but just because he hates the mother for duping him. The children are innocent. He better have some sort of redemption later on! I'm surprised LSY didn't have any hard feeling with the way he was treated all through childhood.

Oh that's cool. I've been watching alot of these vertical dramas on youtube lately. Glad some of them got upgraded to short series with better production. There were a few actors who deserved to be in higher budget dramas.
