In my opinion, yesterday's episode was poorly written... I had so many questions like why hyejin didnt show much sadness? And why she didn't protect her boyfriend when he got beaten up? She even walked a step back. I'm sure this was part of the script and it really didnt make any sense. HyeJin (or was it SMA?) didnt portray much sadness, there were barely tears when she heard the story from Dusik.

Oh yeah and then all of a sudden everyone's shops were full when it was empty from ep 1 - 14. Is it because they wanted to show that without Dusik the shops were not easy to manage? Lol.....

As expected everything was so rush because they tried to show everything in one episode.

This has to be one of my all time Top 5 favorite kdrama i have ever watched. This drama was so good. Seo kang joon portray 2 different characters and we can differentiate easily between the 2 of them. That's how good he was! The OST was great too.

yeah i agree this drama has great acting & production but this is nothing new to kdrama world... what i dont understand is that why do people enjoy watching this drama.. It's kinda scary that people 'love' to watch others being killed.

Yeah in the preview we saw HJ cried and for sure she will stay in Gongjin... However i wish they could show DS back story earlier not on the second last episode! They could have shown it last week... I'm beginning to worry if we will get a happy ending because it's a little too late.

Yes why do kdramas use the same old thing over and over again? I really don't get it...

I have a feeling once she knows about DS trauma, she will change her mind and probably stay and help him to overcome his trauma

I have not watch Vicenzo yet but I've read comments from those who watched it and find that the humour was kinda forced? I'm not sure about that, I have no plans to watch it as I am not a fan of the ML. As for me I love family dramas because most of the time the storyline are relatable (except for Sky Castle). In reality there are people who commit suicide because of the pressure they got from their parents. I am usually drawn to family dramas that mentioned the importance of parents. I am still single but family dramas make me appreciate my parents more... hehe

I used to watch a lot of kdramas but is slowing down now. I love comedies, thriller, a little bit of romcom. I do watch dark dramas too. I highly recommend Stranger From Hell if you have not watched it yet. Definitely 1 of the best Dark genre kdramas. And since you love comedy PLS PLS watch Prison Playbook if you haven't (and it has a bit of mafia too since you like these kind of genre dramas)! The ML of that drama was also from Squid Game, that guy with the specs (forgot his character name). It's SOOOO hilarious. I'm sure you will love it.

I think Squid Game is a little bit too overhyped though. Kingdom S1 & S2 is by far the best Netflix series I have watched. I love zombie movies!!!

Ohh yes talking about butthurt! The hardcore kdrama fans are the ones who cannot accept different opinions from others. I am usually open to have a discussion with someone who has a different opinion than me but most of them aren't open to discussions and start using 'f' words if you dont share the same opinion as them. Lol!

Great movie but unfulfilling ending... i still think Joker should have won Best Picture at the Academy award.

I guess family dramas are not your cup of tea? Hmmm.. Its weird that you said this lacks drama but i respect your opinion though.

I dropped penthouse at ep 4 because i hated almost all the characters and i can see how hard they try to copy this drama. I think i should categorise penthouse under comedy 🤣

Yeah many watch for suzy and njh but became a fan of kim seon ho after watching it..

Penthouse is a joke. I dropped at ep 4. When the woman kicked her daughter's principal at school in a comical way, i couldn't take the drama seriously after that. How can she stop singing just because someone slash her on the neck. That's just pure nonsense....

Omg same!!! I stopped midway when i watch ep 1 and wondered why must i watch a drama about rich people competing with each other but as soon as i reached the end of ep1, there was no turning back!!! I finished it in 2 days too! (or 3 i forgot)

Parasite and squid game have 1 thing in common - bad ending... Yes people will still prefer english movies because they dont need to read subtitles and most of the time they have good endings. I have never watch a Hollywood movie that leave me hanging at the end like korean dramas/movies.

What's with korean dramas/movies and their bad endings? The writers are good at building up the climax but always leave us feeling unsatisfied at the end.. I dont get it

Ok sure I will watch but i highly doubt it is as violent as western movies... even my mum thinks squid game is nothing and she was not scared by it at all as compared to watching a brutal hollywood movie.

Ohh lets not talk about horror movies because hollywood horror movies are trash.. lol... and i think thai horror movies are still the best for me. Nope I am fairly new to kmovies but thanks for the recommendation. Will watch those movies during the weekend!

what i dont like about kmovies/kdramas are usually the ending because they left you hanging. For eg Parasite & Squid Game... the ending was bad that people were not satisfied and hoping to have a season 2.

BTW if you have not watch Midsommar please do since you said that hwood violence can't match korean violence.
