They got stuck together and she let him know just how angry and hurt she was. He didn’t try to excuse it. Instead he apologized and explained how he had begun to realize how cold he had been to people in the past. Then he asks her to give him another chance. She tells him to give her time as she processes everything because, while she does believe he changed, she is still hurting. He then begins to work at earning her love back and finally succeeds. He also quits his job so he doesn’t have to ruin people’s lives anymore and they end up working together as she dives into her new career as a full on potato researcher.

I honestly don’t see her that way. She has experienced trauma and she gets put in a situation where her ex—part of that trauma—is her supervisor (not the ML). So, in front of others, she looks doormat-ish but when they’re alone she literally hits him with her shoes and cusses him out 😂

Agreed! I honestly hope it’s not too horrible because FL can’t handle two big betrayals. As it is, I love ML but I don’t know how I am going to be able to be okay with what he did in the past.
