1 year and the drama still lingers with me. The Best Thing has brought me so much comfort during this time, I never knew a drama could do that. Big kudos to everyone involved in this masterpiece. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
I never knew you could rewatch a drama/scene so many times and never get tired of it. It’s only possible with the Best Thing for me. Seriously so rewatchable -it’s a medical condition I need Dr. He to look at 😂

Whenever I hear this song I always think of the scene after they got together and they couldn’t sleep and rolling around in bed thinking about the confession scene. It always brings a smile to my face!!
I'm going to give a very honest opinion of this drama which I had since I started watching it. This is not to…
I totally see your point. This is my take on it. In my opinion, he never forced her to do anything. He was interested in her, but then he found out she had a bf, so he kept things professional. When he asked the front person for her number, it was because he saw her on TV at the hospital, and she looked tired/exhausted, so he genuinely cared. And her bf is giving her insomnia, making her cry and causing her anxiety, so I wouldn’t say he’s a great guy, and we all see that. When he invited her to his house, he knew she’d already broken up with that bf. On top of the fact that they’ve had several deep conversations with each other, shared their goals and aspirations (saw the sunrise together). And she was going to ask him for a favor and asked to meet (she needed his help). They built a lot on the friendship before anything romantic. To chalk it up I think it’s all mutual feelings. We can see he’s a genuinely sweet guy, and she likes him, feels comfortable with him, and wants to be friends, so I don’t see anything alarming with it. If she didn’t like him back, she would have blocked him, and that would’ve been the end of that. But of course, it’s fiction, so everything is set up that way, so I can understand where you’re coming from. They don’t end up together for a long while (slow burn), if that helps. There’s a lot of growth and development before they end up together. Just my two cents on this.

So happy to see them be #1 on that list. Truly deserve all the love and recognition. Honestly deserves more love… people who haven’t seen this drama are missing out.
FINALLY WAR IS OVER THE POSTER IS CHANGED!! I KEPT SENDING REQUESTS ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR THE LAST MONTH OR TWO!!
Bless you! I just got the message saying it’s been changed and came to check and it made me so happy!! Great job! Thanks so much for your hard work 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for your hard work 😭🙏.MDL choosed the most obscure posters from countless officially released posters…
Thanks for letting me know. Not sure if I did it right but I submitted the request. I love this drama so much and don’t want it to be judged unfairly based on the poster image.

Thanks so much for doing that. How do you submit a request to get the poster changed? Does it help if more ppl request that? I feel like they’re trying to sabotage us with this current poster. I loved the old one.
I loved this so much. I went in with low expectations because I'd heard that it was overly light and didn't have…
I loved what you said… I for one love the pacing of the drama and I don’t think it’s overly light/boring. They took a more ‘simple’ story and filled it with warmth and a lot of heart. On the outside this looks like just another cliche romance drama but it has a lot more to it (like you said it’s not shallow). The characters have their own growth. There’s more to them (their careers, aspirations, family) than just the romance aspect. And the acting is one of the best out there. I loved Ruohan and Linghe in this (the chemistry is so natural). Honestly think this is as close to a 💯 romance drama you can get. Definitely my current favorite, especially to rewatch.
Side effects of watching The Best Thing: cheeks hurting from smiling too much, warmth in your heart, instantly brightens your mood, happiness. Watch The Best Thing if you want to experience these 😉
Rarely come across a drama that deserves a 10 but this one takes the cake right now. It’s perfect so far. Like a warm hug! Haven’t watched a Zhang Linghe or Xu Ruohan drama before but dang they can act, visually stunning and have insane chemistry. The ost and scenes are beautifully shot and their dialogues are refreshing. If the rest of the episodes keeps being this good it might end up being one of my all time fave. Such a gem!!
Exactly. Not a perfect drama, but a beautiful one.
I haven’t been reading the comments section for my mental health lol. Did you watch the last 2 eps? What did you think? I loved ep12 especially the ending scenes. Endings matter the most imo so I’m glad it wasn’t a bad one or else I would have been devastated.
