Couldn’t agree more. It’s good on so many levels. Probably one of the best drama that I’ve ever watched. I hope more people give it a chance and it gets more recognition.

I don’t think I can love this drama more than I do now. Everything about it is perfection. Especially Li Xian and Zhou Yutong! They’re so talented and their chemistry is top notch. Hands down one of the best drama I’ve ever watched.

I have to say I loved the birthday dance and mask kiss scene. It was pure magic. Also loved the scene where she ran to hug him in the car. And the necklace scene. Those are probably my fave scenes of the entire drama. Oh and the scene where he cooks her food and ‘sings’ to her and pretty much all their hug scenes. Actually really liked a lot of scenes :) Those memorable scenes are what I’m going to remember this drama by.

For those who are deciding if you should watch this drama or not, I would recommend it based on the main leads talent and chemistry. They really carried the drama! A big praise and shout out to Peng Guanying and Wang Churan!! Hope to see you guys in another drama together.

Couldn’t agree more. Hugs are so underrated in dramas and the hugs in this one are next level. They acted so well you can feel the love from that.

I feel the same way as you. The ending was a disappointment but they are one of my fave cdrama couple as well. I hope we get to see them in another drama together in the near future.

Yeah those episodes are great as well. I think 1-30 were pretty good. It just went downhill after ep 30 since they put in so many unnecessary stuff.

Episode 31- when he prepares the covid birthday surprise for her. And they dance. It’s the sweetest thing ever. This might be one of my fave scene of the entire drama.

Episode 33 -when she runs to go hug him in the car.

Episode 34 -when he gives her the necklace and I think he tells her they should never separate again. And their hug there is so precious. That’s my ending and how I’m going to remember this show.

After rewatching some of the sweeter scenes, I’m not as mad about the ending anymore. I hope everyone still gives the show a chance and watch it. Peng Guan Ying and Wang Churan are fantastic and their chemistry is superb. I haven’t seen that natural of acting and chemistry in a long while.

The ending wasn’t great but I think it still reserves high ratings due to the leads. It wasn’t their fault the writers are crazy. I’m going to remember all the great scenes. And to look on the bright side it wasn’t a sad ending. And the show also introduced me to PGY and WCR. There are some really great moments in episode 31,33 and 34 that I loved. I’m going to mention it in the spoiler below. Definitely going to watch those scenes when the eng subs are available. Just have to say that their hugs are the best. It always makes me grin from ear to ear.

Great review. I completely agree with everything you said. I hope everyone still gives it a try and watch it even if the last 6 episodes were a disaster. The leads pretty much saved this drama. I’m also going to give it a pretty high rating.

Same here. I’ll watch the eng subs next week. I’m still going to give it a higher rating based on the leads chemistry. And it wasn’t the worst ending ever. **me trying to console myself and just being in denial**

Their chemistry was incredible. I haven’t seen this natural of a chemistry in a long time. Sad about the ending but the drama did introduce me to Wang Churan and Peng Guanying. They are both great and I’ll definitely be watching their next dramas.

I agree completely. I have no idea where the other 6 episodes came from. Was that even in the novel at all? I’m sad too, I was really hoping for a great ending with an absolutely happiness. There was even the scene in ep 34 where he gave her the necklace. Why was that in ep 34 and not the ending.

Seriously right now I feel like I could write an essay about how they could have given us viewers a better ending.

Haha yeah I would have even accepted the ending as when he gave her the necklace in ep 34. I just want to ask the writers what were they thinking. I’ll just pretend ep 31 or 34 is my ending. Sigh.
