I honestly don't think the writer sees any problem with DS's character. The constant glorification of his attitude in each episode clearly indicates that they tried to create this very different and likable ML. But it came to bite them in the ass lol

Trueee. But 18 again for me has been the most complete drama this year. Acting, osts, romance, comedy, main plot and several small plots. Everything was perfect. Lee do hyun is my main man after KSH. What a performance by him.
Also, the best thing about this drama has been that the writing was so perfect that we loved the characters writers wanted us to love and hated the ones they wanted us to hate. Unlike start up which has been a colossal failure on the writers part lol

Thats the issue. There isn't much to enjoy in the drama. Apart from HJP, Grandma, CEO of sandbox and Dong chin, all the other characters have failed to impress me. Their respective storylines aren't catchy.
Say, hypothetically, if HJP does end up with DM in the end, what would your final rating of the drama be?
Can't decide the exact number but it still wouldn't be much high. The drama over all has been very boring and tedious to watch. Had it not been for KSH's acting I would have dropped it way back.

I think the lead actor/actress are kind of contractually bound to promote the leads. They don't have complete control over what they post on social media and what they say about the drama/characters in interview. Everything is basically monitored and they have to follow a script even off screen. I believe no one really thought KSH would end up stealing the limelight from Suzy and NJH both. But still they are the stars of the show with a huge fanbase and no matter how much we crib about constant dodal promotion that's just the way it's going to be unfortunately
