At this point a sad ending is too predictable. Maybe the beach scene in ep1 is only meant to fool the viewers into believing that it will be end badly. My delusional ass will not lose hope until the very last second lol. Come on writers give us some mini jang hyun and gil chae hehe

Her scenes with JH were definitely not filler. They were important because they give you an insight of her character and most importantly show her increasing infatuation for JH. The things she will do in episode 4 will seem more convincing to you because episode 3 lay down the basis for all that.
